Great store! we found snow boots for our toddler and the staff was nice. We returned later for a jacket and the guy gave us advice to not get stuck in traffic on our way to Snow Valley. Any other ski rental store had high prices for ski gear. We're happy we found this hardware.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I was grateful that they took the time to help me find out the type of battery that I needed for my car key fob, and they had it in stock and put it in for me! I know I can do it all myself but the extra mile to be helpful is everything to me. Thank you!

This is a great hardware store that is stocked with everything it can fit in this small location. The owner is a really nice guy and the prices are really reasonable. It is a new go to hardware store to save time and money!

Awesome hardware store in the small but great town if Running Springs. They have a wide assortment of items and they have surprised me a couple times when I came in for uncommon items and they have them. If your looking for a certain part or tool, try this place out before heading down the mountain or ordering online, you may be surprised.

FINALLY! A REAL, local hardware store in Running Springs! Stocked to the hilt (they thought of everything)! No more wasted time, driving all the way to Rim Forest or even Home Depot. The hours are awesome! They seem to be open all the time! A real small-town hardware store that will try and get it, if they don't have it! Friendly staff! Very grateful to have it!

Since the Rusty Hammer has been under new ownership and management, some time back now, they have drastically improved stock AND prices. They are down to Earth people and have almost everything a home owner could need. And YES they have chains, for those coming up for this next storm.

I absolutely adore this store. The owner is incredibly helpful and he somehow magically always manages to have exactly what I need in stock - unlike the Lowe's down the hill :).

Best place to get anything you need for your house repairs. They try to stock a little of everything! In face several times I've been there and they didn't have some exotic item I was looking for. They ordered it and had it within a day!!

Rusty was very helpful. He put the chains on my wheels himself while still smoking his cigar. All of a sudden a huge black bear cake came upon us and Rusty tore it apart with his bare hands. Rusty made us feel welcome in this quaint mountain village called Running Springs.
