Under new management, Madeline was a delightful hostess. Responsive and attentive to many details. The ground floor suite we stayed in was ideal for elderly member of my group. Very comfortable rooms and relaxed common area with wood burning stove. The tree house deck felt very zen for my morning coffee. Bird call all around the place along with beautiful native plants and fruit trees.

We had an amazing winter weekend in Joseph staying at the Kokanee Inn. The accommodations were top-notch, the hosts were very welcoming, and the delicious breakfasts fueled us for days of exploration and fun.

This place is so wonderful!! it is the absolute best place to stay in Joseph. Missy and Eric are wonderful, the breakfast was excellent, the location is perfect, the rooms and beds are fantastic. The entire place is homey and welcoming. The friends I was with adored Joseph, but want to go back next year mostly because of this bed-and-breakfast. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I stayed at the Kokanee Inn on 7-3-23 and we had a great time. The house was clean and comfortable, the rooms were all nicely decorated, and the outdoor space was fantastic and had a lot of options for relaxing outside. We had an excellent breakfast and rode bikes down to the lake. Missy and Eric were amazing hosts, I would definitely recommend the Kokanee Inn on your next trip to Joseph!

We just took our first visit to Joseph and had the great fortune to have booked the Kokanee Inn. Missy and Eric were so very kind, they put so much attention into all of the little details. Our room was comfortable, beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. I would definitely stay there again! Great town and very nice people

The inn itself is cozy, charming, and comfortable with terrific mountain views and easy access to trailheads. They offer snowshoes, bikes, anything you could need to make the most of your Joseph adventure. But the owner, Eric really made our one-night stay unforgettable.

Upon arrival, Eric met us to give us the rundown of the place and ask about dietary considerations for breakfast the next morning. He provided tons of recommendations for where to eat, where to hike, as well as great insight into the culture of the region and was generally a joy to speak with. And that breakfast was 10/10. The best B&B experience I've ever had.

I truly hope we get the chance to come back for a longer stay.

I cannot say enough good things about the Kokanee Inn! My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in March and had an incredible time. The view, breakfast, and general cozy vibe of the place were all amazing. Eric, the owner, was also incredibly helpful and welcoming. If you get a chance to stay here, do it!

We greatly enjoyed our time at the Kokanee Inn. Missy and Erik were spot on with their recommendations from best hike for kids to where to eat each night. Good breakfasts. They were flexible and easy going. The Inn was very clean and small, making for a cozy relaxing vacation. The other guests were really friendly as well. This bed and breakfast had extra amenities that really made a difference from a fridge with free pop, to extra snacks and free coffee and tea.

The best compliment i can give is that we had such a good time that it is making rethink how i view the entire category of bed and breakfast's.

Loved visiting the Wallowas, hells canyon. Ate good food and had great beer.

Wonderful place to stay! Our room was warm, cozy, and very clean. The hosts, Eric and Missy are welcoming, genuinely friendly and informative about the surrounding area. Breakfast was delicious both mornings that we were there! The house is large and looks as though it would accommodate various different groupings of guests. Great location for walking/biking through town or out to Wallowa Lake. If you're looking for a Bed and Breakfast in a quaint little artsy town, this is your place!

Our stay at Kokanee Inn was wonderful! It was a very fun and relaxing vacation. The owners, Eric and Missy went out of their way to make our stay with them extra comfortable and stress free. They upgraded our room to a suite to give us a little extra space and an extra bathroom to accommodate my daughter who has some health issues. They also gave us a lot of tips on some good hikes in the area. The gourmet breakfasts in the morning were very tasty and made our stay even more special. It was fun meeting new people each morning as we shared breakfast and stories with others. I would highly recommend the Kokanee Inn to anyone who wants to stay in Joseph, Oregon.

We stayed at the Kokanee Inn and had a fantastic time. The inn was so clean and so nice; the innkeepers were amazingly accommodating, and the food they included for each breakfast was over the top. They even accommodated our gluten free needs. Bed was comfortable and there was a nice library there too. The outdoor upper deck was great. Perfect view of the mountains, right there! It was located 5 minutes from the beautiful Wallowa Lake, and walking distance to eat and shop in the town of Joseph. They were Covid-conscious and so careful, it made our get-away a TOTAL JOY. We recommended it to a friend, and he will be staying there in coming weeks. It’s a wonderful find! Highly recommend these wonderful people and their place.

Preparing for our first visit to Joseph, my wife and I did a great deal on online research for places to stay. Many inns were appealing for various reasons, but we were both drawn to Kokanee Inn. We are so glad we chose Kokanee. It is absolutely lovely. Our room is perfect for a relaxing three day stay, and the owners couldn’t be more welcoming. Breakfast this morning was incredible. We love how many inviting seating areas the Inn has, both inside and outdoors. We will definitely be staying here the next time we come to Joseph.

Our stay at the Kokanee Inn was absolutely outstanding. The hosts were extremely accommodating, staying up late just to greet us when we came into town Friday night. They prepared two incredible hot breakfasts, and filled out our to-go coffee containers for the road each morning. The Eagle Cap room was very nice with a gorgeous view. It's very quiet, serene, and everything was just so perfect for a quick weekend away. Thank you for the wonderful service and place to stay, we'll definitely be back!

My daughter, her boyfriend and I came to the beautiful town of Joseph Oregon recently for a quick getaway. The lake, mountains, and valley are gorgeous; the town is quaint and clean and the residents so friendly!
We had such a great time exploring the area and wandering the shops in Joseph; I enjoyed best staying at Kokanee Inn.
It is clean, bright and so comfortably furnished. We really enjoyed conversing with our hosts, who are a wealth of local information and they worked hard at making our stay at their inn so pleasant. They were thoughtful and fun!
Breakfast was sublime. If you like to eat delicious food, then stay here for the breakfast.. I’m serious...!

Can't say enough good about this comfortable place and Eric & Missy's gracious hospitality! It was easy to see that they were being so intentional to anticipate our needs during our relaxing stay...and they met them perfectly! In addition to their delicious breakfasts that we were able to enjoy outside looking out over the mountains, they were great conversationalists and were quick to provide us with lots of helpful information about local sightseeing and activities. And we were so touched. After our inquiry about using their bbq space below one of their terraced deck areas, we grabbed what we needed from the local market, and they surprised us by provided all the dishes we needed to enjoy a wonderful evening. Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to this beautiful part of Oregon!

A very nice place to stay. Our hosts took very good care of our needs, and the full, home cooked breakfast each morning was a very nice addition. Watching the stars from the tree house was a great way to end a day. We will be back.

Missy and Eric are the best hosts ever! The Kokanee Inn has been our "go to" place for the last year, as we remodel our place in Joseph and we have enjoyed every minute there. The rooms, the food, the conversation, that awesome wood stove in the lobby all contribute to a relaxed and engaging stay. You won't find a better place to hang your hat for a night, or a week than the Kokanee Inn.

Missy and Eric were absolutely amazing hosts. They have done a tremendous job updating the b&b since they purchased it last year. We stayed in the cabin which was a great place to come back to after days out on the trail. Eric even shuttled our car for us between trailheads! Breakfast was fantastic in the morning. I would gladly recommend the Kokanee Inn to anyone visiting the Joseph area. Clean, affordable, comfortable.

Eric and Missy were great hosts. They have done a good job renovating the inn and landscaping the property. The rooms are very nice and cozy. There are numerous places to sit inside and outside to enjoy the views. We think it’s the best b&b in Joseph and we look forward to visiting again!
