Mountain View Motel & RV Park

Pleasantly surprised by this cute motel! Our friends stayed in one of the on property teepee's while we opted for an air conditioned motel room. Both were great! All immensities are clean and neat. Scott, the owner, is constantly out and about working on the property - it shows that he loves and cares for this place immensely. We will definitely stay here again!

Stayed a night in the RV Park. Beautiful and peaceful setting. Very quiet place. Clean restrooms and showers. Friendly and interesting owner and staff. Looking forward to a return visit. Highly recommend them.

Had a wonderful stay with my husband in the 'Deer and Elk' room. The manager, Scott, was very friendly and nice our entire stay. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The amenities were very nice- there were paper cups, paper plates, and paper bowls in one of the drawers including coffee and cream and sugar which you never find, even in nice hotels. The bathroom was clean and tidy. My only complaint is the pillows... They were past their prime and need to be retired to say the least haha. Other than that, the stay was very nice and the views were absolutely stunning. Highly recommend if you're staying in the Wallowas for a night or two!

In June 2020 I did a photography-birthday-trip to Wallowa and decided to do all the overnights here! Have to say was not disappointed at all! The views are very cool! Rooms clean and nice! Pricing was very reasonable for the place you get! Just a few min. drive to Joseph! Also at that time the pictures of the rooms were not that nice in their website so as a photographer I did some nice shots of them which I'm attaching here (now they put some of my shots in the website! :)) Scott (the owner) was very friendly, we had some nice conversations. He is very caring about his business! Overall definitely recommended place!

love this place. Scott is a great host, the motel room is awesome, great view and I really appreciate how affordable the winter rates are. Had a great time hiking in the Wallowas and staying here at night.

We stayed in the RV part. Mountain View is an understatement. The view and the surroundings are beautiful. The owner is super hard working. I found him very friendly. Keeps the place well cared for. Showers are individual rooms with a toliet and a bench. Lots of clothes hooks. RV Sites are spacious. Price was reasonable.Back in was a little challenging in our spot. The space was straight back from the drive but you could not use the lawn to straighten out because rail road ties prevented you from using the lawn. Some of the sites were angled though. Probably would have been easier.

Really enjoyed our stay at Mountain View Motel. Rooms were very clean and spacious, kitchen was well-stocked, and the grounds were lovely. Perfect for our family of 4 emerging from a week of backpacking in the mountains. We appreciated having the BBQ and ice available, too! Thanks, Scott, for a wonderful stay. We'll definitely consider returning next time we're back in Joseph.

Great place to stay. I have stayed here several times while in the area for work. This place is really great. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy. I have stayed in a few different rooms and have been happy with all of them. Highly recommend. A wonderful motel in a beautiful place.

A fantastic place. Spots are spacious and place is so green - nice trees and shade, incredible mountain views (see photo from our site) and a little creek at the back of the property. Very well maintained, cleanest bathhouse I think I have ever seen. Nice location just west of Joseph, the perfect base for exploring the area. Much preferred staying here than at the state park, which is very close. The owner Scott is active about the place, with charisma for days and great to interact with - super accomodating. Highly recommmend!

Very clean, smaller park. Quiet and beautiful scenery. Nice free, clean showers. Complimentary ice. I loved this place!!

My daughter and I loved staying here. We stayed in one of the motel rooms and it was a delightful experience. Beautiful views, quiet even though it’s on the main road into town, and it’s clear how much care and effort is put into this place. It’s two minutes from town and five minutes from the lake, so super convenient for going out and exploring. The room and the property are clean and well maintained, the area is incredible, there’s a great little swimming hole, and we will be back for sure just as soon as we can.

Awesome little place. We stayed in the motel section. Rooms are small but clean and have everything you need - fridge, microwave, coffee, tv. Room had a great little patio with a grill. Grounds exceptionally clean. Price is great, especially if you compare to prices in town. We were on motorcycles and got caught in a passing thunderstorm. Owner brought us some towels to wipe down the bikes! Will stay here again.

Our family occupied 3 different places and it was a perfect combination of a room with a kitchen, a teepee and a regular room. The decks we had were a great size and overlooked big grassy areas for playing football etc . The grounds are impeccably clean and well maintained and the rooms are the same thanks to the very friendly Kathy who cleans them.This is a great and relaxing place to come ! We will be back!

We got into town late afternoon on a Saturday and there was No Vacancy in any of the surrounding towns, except for a cabin suite at the Mountain View Motel. There were only two of us and I was skeptical about the price of a suite, but I was blown away that it was no more than a 'normal' room would be elsewhere. Once we got in our room we were thrilled at just how spacious, clean and homey it was. It was PERFECT and had a full kitchen with stove/micro and fridge, a private deck with charcoal BBQ and patio table too! Being right off the highway the traffic noise was really not too noticeable and the place was well lit at night. I highly recommend this motel to a family traveling through the area, I think it would suit all their needs and not break the bank. We will definitely be booking a room here the next time we come through with family.

This place is the perfect little park for a quiet retreat to Joseph and Wallowa Lake. Scott keeps the everything looking clean and enjoyable. This place has a great soaking pool of cold and clear water flowing through it. The extra amenities helped make our stay that much better. Grass areas next to our trailer space was great for evening relaxing. We'll be coming back again.

Tent-camped here in Mid-May and have an amazing experience! The views are unparalleled - I couldn't stop snapping photos of the surrounding areas. I also was super happy to find out there were impeccably maintained bathrooms and showers. Scott, the owner, is a wonderful guide to the area. Highly recommend!

Great little place to stay! Friendly owner and clean and nice rooms and cabins. The grounds are well maintained and the views are spectacular. I highly recommend staying here if you come to the area. This little place also has the best prices in the area

Called to reserve a room when visiting the Joseph area with my dog. The state park campground was full and no other pet friendly places in town. Usually always reluctant of RV parks. So glad I came here! Love the small well appointed cabin-like room with fridge microwave and coffeemaker. Love that parking is directly in front of the room and a covered porch. And especially love that the room has a back slider door onto a deck surrounded by perfect grass and a full on view of the mountains. Wouldn't have this anywhere else. Walked around the grounds which are all super nice, perfect grass and lots of picnic tables and fire rings in the RV spaces. The strict pet-leash policy makes perfect sense. This is my new go-to pet friendly place in Joseph.

Only cons are traffic noise from the highway which becomes very quiet after dark, and a mile out of town but that's why the expansive views and full day of sunlight (as opposed to the state park which is surrounded by mountains).

The owner was super friendly and helpful to me. Highly recommend for road trippers and campers.

Very very nice clean RV park and the owner Scott is awesome! We stayed for 9 days and had a great time in Enterprise for Mule days and Joseph. This was our first time there and won’t be our last.
