This is my kind of brunch spot.

I wish they had breakfast all day, but they had a fritatta which was close enough for me.

And the soup! Delicious. I was nervous the poblano corn potato chowder would be too spicy. Not at all! Just right.

Plus, they had some great locally made jewelry & art & felted finger puppets. 💜

Bright, fun atmosphere. The womens bathroom has a chandelier and very fancy music. I thought that was fun. I loved all the bright, antique dinnerware up on the shelves. Good coffee, but my lemon muffin was especially good. :)

Lovely atmosphere and kind service. We had the corn jack cakes and they were delicious, great flavors. Daughter had the baked oatmeal, which had just the right balance of ingredients. We would definitely come back.

An absolutely fabulous bistro and cafe. We enjoyed breakfast outside and had the loveliest morning. The staff was so friendly, and the food was incredible. The chai tea is easily the best I've ever had! Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Every time we visit Joseph we stop at Blythe Cricket - the food is exceptional - try the BLT egg sandwich or any of the baked goods - and the coffee is Nossa Familia and rivals anything I’ve had before (and I drink a lot of coffee in Portland). Great for kids and dogs too. Strongly recommended for anyone visiting Joseph.

This restaurant is incredibly good, the good is delicious, I like the vintage touch of chairs and tables, the staff are so nice I definitely will come back here again.

Love this place! Fresh baked goods, breakfast, lots of easy parking. Look at the Pyrex collection! Amazing.

If you are in the area this is a MUST stop for goodies and great food.

Delightful place! Food was terrific and reasonably priced. Lots of great options for vegetarians. The different flavored mimosas were excellent.

Amazing food in a fantastic atmosphere! My mom and I visited and ate several times in this delicious restaurant. We had both breakfast and lunch and were over the moon happy. The chai is excellent and we are picky with our chai tea lattes. We had ours with soy and coconut milk and both were delicious. The breakfast waffles and sandwiches were delicious. Flavorful wild blueberries and fresh basil with yogurt and honey on my waffle. Very fresh ingredients and the presentation was excellent. Bread made in house! We had the falafel and muffaletta and let me say wow, these ladies did an excellent job with both. The best muffaletta I've had.

Great breakfast spot, with really good options. My daughter got the bacon waffle and though I was skeptical of her choice, it was totally incredible. Great crunch on the outside, pillowy soft inside, and maple syrup mixing with smoky bacon inside was fantastic.

While I don’t consider myself a professional breakfast sandwich reviewer it’s usually my go to menu item. I split the green garden and deep dark woods with my spouse and will say both were the best breakfast sandwiches I can recall ever having. All the ingredients tasted fresh, the pesto was flavorful, and the homemade English muffins made me realize what an English muffin is supposed to taste like. Restaurant was casual and cozy and the staff was friendly. Will try and go there once more on our way out of town!

Best breakfast place in Joseph. Quality food, nice building and atmosphere, excellent service.

We ate here a few times over the Labor Day long weekend. Coffee is really good, and I especially loved the Deep Dark Woods breakfast sandwich. They were crazy busy, but the wait was minimal and the service was awesome. Definitely be back next time we are in town.

From the moment you walk in, you feel like you are stepping into a warm welcoming world of goodness. We ordered the Bloody Mary's and the Deep Dark Woods breakfast sandwich. WOW! We will definitely be back. The homemade English muffin was the star of the show. It was so lovely. But the mushrooms, onions, greens, and sausage were a wonderful addition to the show. Let me not forget the creamy red pepper aioli. There was so much flavor happening. We will definitely be back. What a great little joint this is. If you are looking for local, homemade goodness you should eat here.

I highly recommend visiting if you’re in town! I had an amazing meal, such a cute place! I am strict gluten free/celiac and there was plenty of options available and substitutes. Also vegan items too. I am so appreciative because it can be challenging to eat out when you have allergies. Probably the best gluten free bread I have ever had!

Great food and cute diner!

We camp on the other side of the lake. It is our tradition to get breakfast the morning we head home. We come here every time since they opened. The food is so good. The decor and atmosphere is so cute and cosy. The pastry is lovely. You cannot go wrong with coming here. I love the jacked up corncakes.

This breakfast/lunch restaurant was highly recommended to us by Ken at the Kokanee Lodge in Joseph. We were so happy he did. On a hot August afternoon, we stopped in. We were astonished at the choices available. The food is healthy, well-prepared and delicious. In addition, they serve a number of beers on tap and I greatly enjoyed Terminal Gravity Brewing's (in Enterprise, OR) golden ale, served in a jar. The entire experience was so wonderful that we drove out of our way after 4 days backpacking in the stunning Wallowa mountains for a second visit.

Folks working and eating here are happy, friendly and kind. We live in a much larger city in the midwest and have encountered nothing quite like this. We love Blythe Cricket and will return on our next Wallowa visit.
