Amizette Inn & Restaurant

What a great experience we had with Maggie and the Amizette! Because of an accident, we had some road closures and needed to check in late. We expected a note with our key, but Maggie stayed late to check us in personally. Breakfast was delicious, the view was great and the room was charming and clean. Thanks so much for a great time and we will be back!!!

We were able to check in with no problems at all, and were very happy with our stay there. The inn has a small river behind it, and my family and I enjoyed spending time out back. The breakfast had a lot of options, and we could watch the chipmunks, hummingbirds, and mountain jays through the large windows in the room that breakfast was served in. The staff were all very nice, and made sure that we had everything we needed. Close to Taos ski valley as well, which has several restaurants and shops. Overall a very wonderful experience.

An amazingly wonderful place. Rustic charm. rooms were clean. Superb breakfast of fresh fruit and made to order sausage and eggs. Hummingbirds everywhere. Chipmunks were funny, staff was amazing. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, warm, intelligent conversation. clear clean mountain stream views from the common area. The price was great at almost half of the others in the area. I will recommend Amizette inn to everyone.

Love this place. Great views and great service. We were booked at another spot locally, but when we arrived they did not have our booking on record. They made it right, and called Amizette hoping to find somewhere for us to sleep that night. Amizette told us to come on, and that they would wait up for us to arrive. We showed up late, well past check in, and yet there they were, with a smile on their face ready to help. After arriving our disappointment quickly turned to excitement as we loved this Inn, and the people who ran it. The inn is on the side of a mountain with a nice little stream running behind it. It was perfect.

Excellent service, wonderful breakfasts, and cozy rooms. The Amizette inn is one of the best places I've stayed for a ski vacation. To be honest, I sometimes crave their eggs and bacon.

Amizette was a great place to stay while going up to Ski at Toas, they were supper accommodating and friendly! I ended up booking the wrong date but they still were able to check me in that night! Would highly recommend!

I understand that the Amizette is now a Pension -with hostel dorm prices ..do you still have free pancakes and the hot tub ? Love your place just seating looking at the River ..let me know ...

Maggie is as sweet as her blueberry pancakes in the morning. The room was clean and comfy.

Wonderful place to stay. Smooth sound of a waterfall coming the window. Very friendly and helpful staff. Strong WIFI. I’ll be back !

Was unable to get to the inn due to bad weather. They still charged me in full. Greedy business. Avoid this place!
