The Sprecher Brewing Tour is an awesome Milwaukee activity to do with the whole family!

Beer Garden
For the first time we went to the Sprecher Brewery for the brewery tour since we were in the area for lunch at Solly's Grille and it was a great experience. It's important to note that you will not see production going on during the tour because as our guide mentioned it would be very loud & wouldn't be as informative since you wouldn't be able to catch everything pointed out. We got there a bit early which is a good idea it turns out because when you check in they give you your bracelet that has the beer sample tabs that you need to sample. They guide you to wait in the beer garden where the samples are. The beers are good and they seem to have a beer for just about any taste on tap to try. They give you a pint glass that you get to take home and it's a great experience.

Kids
The kids, under 21, also are included and they get a cup to get samples as well for the craft soda they brew. According to our tour guide about 50% of all Sprecher sales are the Root Beer and when you include all sodas it's about 75/80% of all their business. Soda samples are unlimited so the kids can try sodas and have as much as they want. There were a couple of kids on their tour and our tour guide did great answering the questions that they had about the sodas they make

Snacks/Gift Shop
The snack bar has some good food including a giant pretzel that was the size of my hand as shown in the picture. It comes with a mustard sauce that I wasn't a huge fan of but we paid the extra to add cheese as well & that was really good with the pretzel. The gift shop has plenty of sodas, beers, and merchandise to try out. They do have some cool t-shirts and pretty much all the soda and beer offerings that you can get in a single form if you don't want a huge pack or anything like that.

Tour
The tour was awesome! Very informative and while it only took about 20 minutes to do, our tour guide explained the whole process to us which was very interesting to learn about.

I highly recommend visiting here and the tour!

Fantastic atmosphere. Christian was a fantastic tour guide and made it both fun and informative. We had to come and see where our favorite root beer was made. After, we sat in the indoor beer garden and enjoyed our free samples…which were full glasses by the way. Highly recommend. My entire party had a great time.

A must do for a true taste of Milwaukee Sprecher beers and sodas. I love unlimited soda and limited beer. Don't miss out on the big pretzel, and pizza. Jeff the tour guide was amazing, knowledgeable, and a George Klooney look alike. This is my first brewery tour ever but I'll be back.

Excellent, family friendly tour! Our tour guide, Christian, was awesome! Filled with knowledge about the beer and soda making process but also lots of fun facts about the history of Sprecher, the interesting history of the building and crazy stories about how it all came to be. It really was a great time! Plus tons of sampling afterwards! Kids loved the unlimited soda too!

Knowledgeable, and definitely helped me learn a lot about the Sprecher Brewery. Enjoyed the Large Soft Pretzel, and the endless soda. My favorite was the Door County Cherry Soda. Will definitely comeback to my favorite soda brewery. (Ps OG Christian deserves a raise).

We toured Sprecher with Jeff. He was very engaging and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tour and the ample tasting provided as part of the tour. Definitely recommend!!

Fun place to visit. The tour was short & sweet. The tap room is awesome. 4 full sized adult beverage samples and all you can drink soda and a souvenir glass are included in the tour. They also have snacks for purchase. Great bartender and fun atmosphere. Gift shop has every flavor soda and adult beverage they make which is awesome. Glad to hear they are expanding and growing the business! Can’t wait for the Hard Grape Soda adult beverages to become available in Minnesota! Great date night or small group outing venue.

Love it here. The tour guide was super funny and entertaining. The tour was interesting. I like the pics of the original owner dude in his German overalls... Randy? The beer and soda was all delicious. Great family vibe.

Was invited to tour the Sprecher Brewing Company with a friend on a Sunday. Thought it would be jammed and hurried.
It was quite the opposite. Super friendly, fun and knowledgeable staff throughout the brewing company. The soda and beers were outstanding! All you can drink soda with the tour and 3 beers too…more than you could really consume.
Also tried a gigantic pretzel which was delicious!
I highly recommend a trip to Milwaukee to see the iconic facility.

Really fun tour with OG Christian. He was really funny and knowledgeable. We went to Milwaukee on a whim for an extended birthday weekend trip and this was a great addition. The ladies in the gift shop were also super nice and helpful. We bought a ton of the soda flavors and can't wait to try them all.

The tour was AWESOME!! Our tour guide, Jeff, was a unique combination of humor and knowledge! He was personable, friendly, funny, and did a FABULOUS JOB!!! We loved it and can’t wait to come back!

We had a great tour. Our guide was so fun. We sampled Pizza, spinach dip w/chip and street corn bites with our 4 drinks that came with the tour. The Hard Cherry Soda was my Favorite. Yum!!

Sprecher justice. Seriously, if you are on the fence, pull the trigger! You will not be disappointed! Also the value for money is absolutely incredible!

We absolutely love coming here! I highly recommend doing the tour, definitely worth it for several generous pours of choice and you get to keep your glass. The soda is fantastic and so are their beers. If you like German style beers, it's a must try! In central IL we don't see their beer, but we do pick up their sodas. The rootbeer and creamsoda are the best! If you like flavored cream sodas add a little bit of syrup to it, we add raspberry and it's amazing (a little goes a long way)! We love the bar games, the atmosphere, and the amazing staff, we'll definitely visit again when we're in Milwaukee!

Absolutely 100% the BEST sodas i’ve ever tried. Their unique brewing process high quality natural ingredients truly make a difference. So incredible! My favorites right now are their cherry cola, cream soda, and puma cola. I can’t wait to try more. Highly recommended.

What a pleasant surprise! The tour was brief but informative. Our guide was new there and was charming - with a killer mustache!
What was really a treat was the atmosphere after the tour - 4 drink tickets for beer and unlimited taste testing on the soda. The bartenders were so friendly and helpful. They had table games - the best food (pizza, nachos and a huge pretzel!) They have comedy nights, etc. Again, such a gem of a place! We will be back!!!

We had a lot of family in town with three generations. Nine of us enjoyed the tour and stayed for about two additional hours enjoying the soda and drinks. The soft pretzel was amazing. Our favorite soda was the seasonal apple. It was delicious.

The Sprecher Brewery tour was fun and informative. After the tour, they encourage you to stay and try the products. They even have board games to play. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Thank you.

Wife and I drove in from MN for the tour, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was very informative and we enjoyed hear the history and how this started. Tasted their different beers and hard sodas. Wife enjoyed their different root beers. The Ginger Hard Soda is a refreshing taste. It is to bad they do not sell the beer and hard sodas out of state, guess I'll be making another stop to pick up more before heading back to AZ

Wonderful tour! Ray provided lots of interesting information about Sprecher and the history of the brewery. I grew up drinking their root beer, and it tastes FANTASTIC at the source! This is the only factory that makes all the Sprecher products that get distributed all over the U.S. They have lots of board games and cards so you can relax while sampling with friends. Awesome vibes, I'll definitely bring out of town guests here!
