Indian Lodge Motel

The owners are great and we loved staying here! These folks are kind and honest, the type who make you welcome and ensure you leave with positive memories from the clean rooms, thoughtful service and awesome additions like a fire pit in your own backyard of the hotel room with lawn chairs facing the mountains!

Stayed two nights at this motel and loved it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. It's located right next to restaurants, shops and even a laundromat and car wash. All within walking distance! I would absolutely stay here again!

The renovated rooms are well done. Each room has a fire pit in a private back area. There are no staff on site after dark. Free and ample parking. The linens were clean and there are lots of outlets for all the devices. It’s a short walk through the entire town. It’s a nice place to people watch.

We stayed in the end unit with a king and twin. We have a toddler, so it was perfect for us. The room is small but adequate, and very clean and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the vanity area that’s separate from the bathroom. The location is great, within walking distance of all of the downtown restaurants and shops.

Nice room very clean and updated. Bed was huge and slept well, shower was updated and worked well lots of water. You can appreciate the coffee maker in room and it was great to have and use. The staff was very friendly and trustworthy. I would stay here again.

Seriously the most friendly and accommodating staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. When my gf couldn't join me at a friends wedding in Joseph, the owners helped to accommodate a friend with a super comfy roll away bed in my King size bed room. SUPER APPRECIATED. Also the only person we needed to talk to regarding where to go for everything in Joseph. If I ever go back, I will FOR SURE stay at the Indian Lodge! The rumor is they may be opening a brewery soon as well! Thanks again Indian Lodge and best of luck!

I loved staying at this motel. I met the new Owners Alicia and her husband while checking in. From the looks of things they have done a great job modernizing the motel without losing any of the quaint, welcoming touches that make the rooms feel like home.
One of my favorite things about the Indian Lodge Motel is its location. Not only is the area very safe and quiet, but it is also centrally located for the city of Joseph, OR. There are dozens of great places to eat and shop within walking distance or just a few minutes drive. The lakes are also located nearby so along with a good nights sleep I was able to go check out the wildlife. My room had a small refrigerator and microwave. I look forward to staying here again next time in Joseph! THANK YOU!!!

I was traveling on business and found myself at the Indian Lodge Motel and I am so thankful I did. The motel, under new management, is a perfect blend of a homey feeling in a modern world. Plenty of safe parking, a welcoming room and management that takes care of even the smallest details.

Probably my two favorite things about the Indian Lodge Motel are the location and the location. Located in the heart of Joseph, OR., the immediate surrounding area offers plenty of great places to eat and shop within walking distance or just a short drive down the street. The other selling point with the location is surrounding the town of Joseph are the natural attractions that offer visitors the perfect place to hunt, fish and hike.

Whether you are just passing through or there for several days to take in all the great things the town and the surrounding area has to offer, the Indian Lodge Motel is the only place I'll ever want to stay when in Joseph, OR. Trust me. You'll thank me later.

We had a great visit at the Indian Lodge Motel. The manager Debbie had us checked in quickly and then spent a couple of minutes telling us about Joseph and the sights in the area. The grounds around the motel are nice and well maintained. There are tables and chairs out on the lawn. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. The restaurants, bars and shopping are all within walking distance. Joseph is a beautiful town with a lot of flowers and sculptures. We wish we could have spent more time there. We would definitely stay at the Indian Lodge Motel again.

A little late on review as we stayed in July! Hotel had just been updated and was alot nicer then expected. Excellent location! Loved the deck and fire pit!

Great hotel right on the edge of Joseph. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Renovated rooms.

Clean, low key establishment. Friendly staff. Big, comfortable bed and high volume shower. Stayed here while working for Sun Pest and was happy with the accommodation. I preform a thorough pest inspection before I set my stuff down at all hotels I stay and turned up nothing here.

Just spent two wonderful nights in Joseph, Oregon at the Indian Lodge Motel. I have stayed all over the world in motels and I can tell you there is no finer place to stay than right here. The Bed was wonderful and the room was spotless. Did I say spotless, can't think of a better adjective. The office people were great and very helpful. The final kindness was shown to me when I left my electric tooth brush behind and they mailed it to me. Now that is service. When I return to Wallowa county I know where I will stay.

We had a fantastic weekend at the Indian Lodge Motel. Very clean. They have done a great job with their remodel. We will be back another time!

This place is a fantastic motel in the shadow of the Wallowa mountains! The rooms are great and the owners are fabulous!

Was a walk in and since they had vacancies, we took the room for one night. Rooms were clean and newly remodeled and within walking distance of everything in downtown Joseph .

Great location, the air-conditioning units are super loud. The room was cute & clean

SURE FELT WORTH THE PRICE. SUCH A MAGNIFICENT AND BEAUTIFUL BACK DROP OF WALLOWA MOUNTAINS. WELL WORTH THE DRIVE.

Our room was so cozy. Very clean and the staff was very sweet and accommodating.
