Both my wife and I would highly recommend the Bronze Antler Bed and Breakfast. We stayed there for four nights and from start to finish, we felt like were staying in a friends house. The on duty host is fantastic and very engaging. The accommodations are well appointed and blend perfectly with the area. The breakfast side was amazing. Each day was either a sweet or savory experience with plenty of coffee available. Joseph, Oregon is a fantastic place to visit, the Bronze Antler is the icing on the proverbial cake. Well deserving of five or more stars.

Everything we could have wished for. While the house is a craftsman style, our room, in the addition, was very modern. The room was large, comfortable, and had a wonderful bathroom with both shower and jacuzzi tub.

The location is very convenient being on Main Street within walking distance of the downtown. There is a great view of the mountains from the property.

The common area is very comfortable and coffee and cookies are always available.

The hostess prepared different wonderful breakfasts for each of the three days we were there. She made sure all of our needs were met without hovering. She is a natural at running a B&B.

The only negative, and this is not about the Bronze Antler, is that our visit in late September meant that few restaurants were open. The Embers was good and Jose at La Laguna is a stitch.

We'll be going back.

Highly recommend The Bronze Antler. This was my second time and it was every bit as wonderful as the first. The location is ideal, close enough to walk the town but a couple blocks out of the main action. Rooms, food and hostess were terrific. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious! And the hostess was incredible. She’s very happy to engage in conversation and to share about the area but is not intrusive. If you enjoy staying at bed and breakfasts, you have to stay here.

The Bronze Antler is simply superb in all respects. Reasonable rates, every attention to detail, gourmet breakfasts, smiles all around. We could not have asked for more for our visit to Joseph!

Great location! We could walk to downtown so easily. The view is beautiful with the mountains. Breakfast was delicious! The innkeeper was so attentive. My husband has special dietary needs. She made something amazing just for him. Our room was adorable and had so many thoughtful attentions to detail. We loved it here.

Had a really fun time staying in The Mirror Lake Suite for a quick weekend getaway! The breakfast was delicious and the host was really friendly and helpful. The bathtub was HUGE!! We loved that everything in Joseph was within walking distance. Can't wait to come back again soon for a longer stay.

The most beautiful place I've stayed in my life. The decor is exquisite, the host is terrific, and the location is unbelievable. If you are staying in Joseph, or passing within 100 miles of this BnB you will want to stay here. Rooms are super comfy and the breakfast is delicious. Joseph is a great small town in the summer as well as the winter! The Wallowas are pristine and great for hiking or snowshoeing. You can see the mountains from most of the windows. Would recommend to anyone but almost want to keep this place a secret!

Friends have been telling us to visit Joseph for a long time. Staying at this B&B made it the perfect visit in every way !! TRUST the pictures you see in their post because they are spot on !! And, of course the Inn keeper, chef, host, is simply a friend you haven't met yet !! Thank you for making our trip to Joseph so much better then we could have imagined !!

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay here... the entire home was very clean and comfortable. Evenings were quiet, relaxing and conducive for getting a good night sleep. Every morning was a joy, waking to the smell of freshly brewed coffee followed soon by the enticing scent of breakfast being prepared. The current caretakers of the B&B are Bill and Annie, both very personable and excellent at making all of the guests feel welcomed and appreciated. We really enjoyed their hospitality and getting to know a little bit about them personally... it made us both feel like we were staying with family. We plan to return to the area some day for more vacation time and we will definitely put the Bronze Antler B&B at the top of our list for places to stay.

This "bed & breakfast" still serves an actual breakfast! When we checked in, we were warmly greeted, shown around, taken to our room and then asked what time we would like the coffee ready and what time we would like breakfast served. It was a sit down, table service meal (just the two of us) and it was delicious! I think they try to serve each group of guest separately. Beautiful mountains out the large picture window in the dining room as we ate. Very comfortable b&b with nice game selection, a living room large enough for multiple guests to enjoy some relaxation. The covered porch was very pleasant to watch Main Street traffic go by. Walking distance to town I would say is about 4 blocks. Wallowa Lake is only about a 5 minute drive and do the local Barn Tour! There was a pamphlet on the guest table. We had a great time.

We had an amazing time at the Bronze Antler for our 5 year anniversary last weekend. The house itself is beautiful, and so are the gardens. Very peaceful! We stayed in the Mirror Lake Suite - no detail has been overlooked! The bed is amazing, and the bathroom is incredible, just take my word for it. You won't want to get out of the shower or the tub! Heather and Bill were fantastic hosts - very accommodating, friendly, helpful, and humorous, too! The breakfasts were so fresh and delicious. We had the best company at the time we were traveling, and we fell in love with Joseph and the Bronze Antler. We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful spot and centrally located. Was the perfect place to rest before some backcountry skiing in the Wallowas. The hostess was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The EV chargers are a huge plus and allowed us to take our EV to eastern Oregon.

Hands down the B&B we've enjoyed best, ever! Everything was thought of ahead of time to make us feel comfortable and at home. From umbrellas, ponchos and trekking poles, to alternate milks and ingredients for lactose intolerant or vegetarians, to fresh baked cookies and port in the evenings, to a lovely garden to sit in. Everything downtown is within walking distance. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the Wallowa area. Wish all the B&B's we go to we're as pleasant and well run as the Bronze Antler!

My husband surprised me with a birthday trip to the Bronze Antler and it was such a great experience. They have thought of every detail and made the space so very comfortable. You can tell that Mark and Raylene take a natural interest in their guests and really are lovely hosts. In this age of Airbnb, the Bed and Breakfast complete with innkeepers and a meal shared with other travelers, is becoming a lost art! I highly recommend considering the Bronze Antler when considering a visit to Joseph!

Wonderful B&B! The included breakfast was amazing and worth the stay in itself. The 3 rooms upstairs are very close together but everyone was quiet and respectful of each other. The B&B is walking distance and very close to all of the stores and restaurants on the main st of Joseph. We will definitely return!

We stayed there for two nights, and the hosts were delightful. The house is beautiful, warm, and inviting. There is a library full of books about hikes in the local area, maps, and other tidbits of the culture and history of the area. The rooms were great, with large bathrooms, and beautiful mountain views.

Our hosts Bill & Heather went above and beyond with their multi-course breakfast meals and general friendliness. We really enjoyed chatting with them about the history of the local area and we got an understanding of the town much more than we otherwise would have.

We took a last minute trip to Joseph, Oregon, and were delighted with our choice of the Bronze Antler B&B. We were warmly welcomed by owners Bill and Heather and the accommodations were nothing short of spectacular! The room was roomy with modern conveniences and attention to the smallest detail to make our stay everything we could have asked for. We were treated to 2 very generous, tasty breakfasts, great coffee, fresh fruit and juice in a warm, inviting dining room. Bill and Heather made us feel very special and had a wealth of knowledge about the area. We're looking forward to visiting again and would recommend the Bronze Antler wholeheartedly and without reservation. Treat yourself to this wonderful experience in a beautiful area, you won't be sorry you did.
