As a very big fan of good Italian food (talking about Italian food in Italy) I can say, one of the few restaurants impressed me outside Italy. Very good food. Even in Italy you don’t find the choice of food so easy, they serve here. Feels like I am eating at a good Italian friend.

One of the best dining experiences we've ever had. The homemade mozzarella melts in your mouth. The artichokes are incredible. Everything we ordered was amazing. Atmosphere is beautiful and cozy. This will be our new regular spot!

If you want a restaurant that serves real authentic Italian dishes, Ciao ammore is that place after visiting italy and having the best pasta i ever had in my LIFE me and my wife were worried we will never find a restaurant that will serve the same and trust we try with no results until by chance we found this hidden Jem 🙏🥲 thank you ☺ Ciao ammore!!

Delicious Italian food can be found in this charming little family run restaurant in downtown Lauderdale by the Sea. We came here for dinner last Saturday night and felt fortunate to get in. I had the Orecchiette Broccoli E Salsiccia and my husband had fettuccine with meat sauce. Both meals were amazing. The pasta is cooked al dente, which we prefer and the sauces are so flavorful. Also, the sausage in my meal was high quality and not fatty.

The owners and waiters were so nice and attentive. Excellent service!

A small and authentic Italian restaurant. I’d recommend booking a table when you’re thinking of going here since it’s a cozy and popular space. Everything we ate was great and the service was fantastic.

The parking is a bit tricky to get into, though.

Superb cuisine, like eating in Florence. Very pleasant atmosphere, feel welcome, staff looks after you like family. Prices are also affordable and great value. My favourite restaurant !

Great pasta and desserts. Chicken cutlet and lamb was delicious as anything else that we ordered. Food was so good that we went here 3 nights out of a 5 day vacation

After a meeting in Key Biscayne, we looked for a place to have dinner on the way back to Boca and found this small intimate restaurant. If you want authentic Italian food and service, Ciao Ammore delivers exactly that and more. Family owned and run, everything is homemade and absolutely delicious. The bread is the perfect texture, and the wines are Italian. In fact, everything is either homemade or from Italy. This restaurant is a rare find and we intend to drive from Boca to dine here again.

As the other reviews have said, this is the real deal. Italian owners making authentic Italian with a great wine selection. What more do you need to know? The food was delicious, the wine was great and I wish we would have been able to stop in more than once.

We called ahead for a reservation on a week night and glad we did as it got busy during dinner time. We loved the Scamorza al prosciutto appetizer. For dinner I had the Fettuccine al ragu and my wife had the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina and we both really enjoyed our meals. For dessert the homemade Tiramisu and vanilla ice cream was a great way to end an excellent dinner.

Service a little slow, but it was just two running between taking orders, food running, and clearing tables on a Friday night.

Pasta is absolutely amazing, the only thing I'd complain about there is the size of the portions leave a little more to be desired.

Traditional Roman food at its best. The closest you will get from eating dishes in Rome. Valentina (hostess) and her husband Marco (chef) brought their knowledge of exquisite Roman cuisine to Lauderdale By The Sea. A true gem. Carciofi alla Romana, cacio e pepe and carbonara are absolutely spectacular and remind me of similar dishes served in Rome. Absolutely delicious. To top it off, the owner and chef makes his own fresh mozzarella (treccia) daily and you notice this upon your first bite. If you are looking for truly authentic Italian (Romana) dishes, this small, family owned gem in Lauderdale By The Sea is your spot.

Authentic Roman dishes. Everything freshly made. All deserts made by owner. Wonderful culinary experience! It’s a destination whenever we are in FL.

Authentic hearthy food, when you see plenty of Italian families in an Italian restaurant you can tell it’s genuine , everything was delicious and home made. We are definitely coming back

My first experience with this great local restaurant was ordering the gnocchi for take-out during the later lockdown times. It was probably the best gnocchi ive ever had - really simple but fantastic. I had to go back and was glad I did. Its an intimate type space that you don’t see too often in south florida. Its clearly a local family owned place and the attention to service and experience shows. Will be back soon!

Authentic Italian cuisine from a Roman trained Chef and his wife and family - we've been many times now and love it just as much. A hidden gem. On weekends, reservations are a good idea.

Incredible and authentic Italian cuisine!!! The mozzarella and burrata are home made daily and the pasta is phenomenal! The owners-chefs are so so nice! Definitely coming back as many times as we can while here! Love, love, love it!!!!

At first I was skeptical with all of the glowing reviews, but I have to say this place lives up to the hype. Highly authentic Italian food. Fresh pasta and fresh mozzarella in the caprese salad makes a huge difference. I highly recommend this place!
