You would not believe the amount of information found inside. Just as great for adults as kids of all ages. Glad they are open during the winter this year. Account for spending several hours here if you want to learn about all sorts of animals. Considering coming back without the little ones to learn more myself. Great host and fun place. Extremely knowledgeable staff

Super friendly and amazing staff! Very talkative and entertaining! Great place for kids, but an interesting place to pop in and learn stuff as adults too.

Great hands on experience for all ages. Free to enter with donations if you feel inclined. Our 4 and 6 year olds had a great time exploring and looking at everything. Adults had a good time reading about history, geology and biology of the area. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Will go back again.

This place is great! Definitely worth the visit, very informative and the little library outside had some really great books.

Bonus it's free!

For such a small building, it packs a lot of information. The displays are well organized and easy to comprehend -- except for where they are mind-blowing! They have a good selection of hands-on learning, educational, fun and safe for the young visitors. The staff are all helpful, and some are very knowledgeable, if one has further inquiries.
Admission is free. (A quiet box will accept your donation, should you choose.) And they offer complimentary water in glass tumblers to their summer guests.

This place was on the small side, but is donation only. My 4 and 2 year old LOVED the fact that almost everything could be touched and handled. Even my 10 month old stayed busy. The young man working there was super nice. He interacted with my children, answered my 4 year old's 3 million questions, and was very knowledgeable.

My kids loved this interactive learning center. They got to check out lots of different things under the microscopes, build habitats, see habits, and play birds in the upstairs loft. A great place for kids and adults alike to drop in on and check out.

My 8 and 10 year old daughters loved the displays at this little museum. The hands-on aspects of it worked very well for them and the staff member we talked to was very knowledgeable and helpful.
