Stopped by for a Sunday brunch- wonderful!
Manager greeted us warmly and took us to a beautiful table on the patio.
They had a delightful menu with several options.
Two of our group ordered the breakfast parfait and said they were delicious
My biscuits and Gravy were exceptional!
Overall a great experience!!

Three of us had an absolutely fabulous dinner at the BBTavern Friday evening. The tavern was very cozy and the staff attentive to every detail. I recommend the salmon, but my son had a most amazing filet mignon... and the calamari was some of the best I've ever had.
Based on the dinner experience, I tried a Goldilox Bagel at the Cafe the next morning and was blown away. Apparently the bagels are homemade and are really amazing! I guess I will be back every morning I'm here trying a different bagel combination... Oh, and try the cappuccino - perfection!

Best dining hands down in Taos Ski Valley. Service has been consistently good during my several visits this season. This is in a ski resort town where dining options are limited and service challenges abound at other establishments. Not great for large groups (> 8), given their small dining room. I strongly recommend reservations as demand is high and they have a limited sized dining room.

Bar scene is very good, and can be quite lively aprés ski.

I eat here every time I’m up.

The best dinner in Taos, right now. We had the kale and fennel salad, steak, and chicken saltimbocca. The steak was a little salty, but that was our only complaint. Service is friendly and attentive, good drinks, and a nice atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.

We went for breakfast and ended up coming back twice during our trip. Food was great and the location is so nice! The only thing that could be better is the coffee.

I love this restaurant! We have gone here over the last four years and went at the start of the ski season for a birthday dinner with our whole family and had an incredible meal! The staff especially John, Kerri and Sid took incredible care of us and I think it is the best restaurant in Taos ski Valley. We went back 10 days later since we had such a great experience and tried different things on the menu which were all excellent. The bone in ribeye is one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! I’m very impressed with The menu that the chef has created. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that is staying in Taos Ski valley.

We had the very best time at this wonderful restaurant!! Our waiter was a joy, very knowledgeable with spot on recommendations. He shared a few stories which made our time there so enjoyable. The food... was simple perfection, the best meal we had all week! I wish it had been open all week, we would have gone there every night. Highly recommended! I'll be dreaming of the Blonde Bear Tavern forever. ❤❤👍🥂🍾

Best breakfast in the ski valley!!! Breakfast potatoes are perfect, everything is fresh made to order. Chef Horton is the best chef in ski valley too!! I’ve been eating his food for years, even before here. His food has perfect flavor and presentation. You can taste the difference over any chef in taos in my opinion. His love and talent is in every dish!

Great dining experience. Popped in the storefront of cafe naranja, expecting a quaint coffee shop. Was led back to the dining room (which I believe is mostly used for The Blonde Bear dinner guests) and was pleasantly surprised. Menu covered all of the classic breakfast staples with a few New Mexican twists: Breakfast sandwiches, bfast burritos, granola, huevos rancheros, green chili biscuits & gravy, eggs & meat, etc. The croissant sandwich was good sized, and croissant tasted freshly made. The green chili biscuits and gravy lived up to their expectations and more. Cheddar biscuits were light and fluffy, while the gravy was thick and layered with green chili. Had a good enough kick to wake you up in the morning, but not send you home right away 😉. We got to taste the red chili, and that one is slightly more debilitating (according to my husband - I stayed clear). Service was fast and friendly.

Great food, good selection of drinks. The duck wings are excellent. Very tasty and good crispy breading. The onion rings are dusted with chili powder and are flavourful. Pasta del giorno (pasta of the day) is usually a good, and relatively inexpensive, choice. My favourite is the duck breast which has a good chewy texture and lots of flavor.

Always enjoy apres ski here by the fire at least once each visit. Pool table, foos ball, and piano are a bonus.

Dinners here (and breakfasts at Cafe Naranja) are a significant step up from usual ski fare— in the same league as the St. Bernard, IMHO.
