I'm SO glad I got hit by that car!!!! No, really. After months of suffering with sciatica with no improvment and no relief, I was rear-ended and suffered whiplash. Then, I was REALLY a wreck. My daughter in law, Alyse Shetler, recommended I come see Rachel and Jason Stein at Wallowa Avenue Wellness. I HAVE MY LIFE BACK!!! My posture is no longer slouching, my pain is gone and I have learned ways to stretch and exercise to help maintain my new lease on a pain-free life. They are amazing, affordable and highly recommended by me! I will forever be grateful.....

With a down- to earth approach that meets you wherever you are on your wellness journey, both Dr. Rachel Sterry and LAc Jason Stein have a massive range of experience, tools and modalities to help you identify what your wellness goals are and how to meet them one manageable step at a time. They are truly invested in the community and have an incredible sliding scale open clinic every Tuesday afternoon. I have had incredible results regaining mobility after a series of acupuncture that has made a huge difference for me in a short amount of time. Highly recommended.

I’ve had the pleasure of being a patient/client of both naturopathic Dr. Rachel Sterry and Acupuncturist Jason Stein. They are both very skilled and knowledgeable. I love the more casual feel with their business. They truly care and go above and beyond to provide what is needed. I was pleasantly surprised that along with my acupuncture, I also got a therapy session that was greatly needed. And the bonus is my physical ailments are much relieved as well! The owners, Jason and Rachel, are incredibly well informed about health and wellness and are just so much fun to be around. The community space is beautiful, the exercise classes are both challenging and a blast, and there is community acupuncture now weekly! So much good stuff to explore, would highly recommend to anyone looking to reach their health goals and have some fun.

I went to Wallowa Ave. Wellness for a week-long retreat during a major transition time for my business. It's a great place to reset and pause while soaking up the incredible beauty of the Wallowa mountains of Northeastern Oregon. While I was staying at their awesome Tiny House (everything you need is right there!), I got a great massage, spent time in the amazing Infrared sauna, worked out/did yoga in their fitness room, and had a business coaching session while on a beautiful hike. It doesn't get better than this - the inspiration and renewal are everywhere. The small, artsy town of Joseph, OR also doesn't stop giving with its cute shops and yummy restaurants, and Wallowa Lake (5 minutes away) is a gorgeous and wonderful place to swim and chill out. As a small business owner, I value my time whether at work or play - and this was an incredible combination of both. I left feeling refreshed and ready for my new phase of life and business. Jason and Rachel and their sweet kiddos helped make this a very special time I won't forget. Thanks!

I had the great pleasure of staying in this wonderful tiny home in beautiful downtown Joseph, OR! Perfectly situated for convenient walking distance to everything you need for a fun stay in the Wallowas. The space sits adjacent to an exciting new project coming to Joseph that will have wellness add on services or classes in the very near future. The owners are fabulous and you’ll be lucky to meet them and their team. The kitchen was perfect for cooking myself a meal and my small dog companion was welcome. I’d been hiking and camping for days so the hot shower was awesome!🌻 Thank Rachel and Jason for having me as a guest.

I took Rachel’s Senior Strength class and absolutely loved it. She certainly geared class for us oldsters and made it fun and a great workout. By the end of the classes, my strength had improved, but better yet, my balance was vastly better.
Best part of our classes was how much fun we had. Rachel engaged all of us throughout our workouts and really kept the pace going. I look forward to our next set of classes and recommend this class for anyone oldster looking to get stronger and improve one’s balance.

My son and I are so grateful to Jason Stein at Wallowa Ave. Wellness. My son had an extremely tight and swollen hamstring which was preventing him from competing in track meets. For weeks we tried everything to relieve the swelling with no success After one session of acupuncture with Jason, the swelling and tightness were relieved immediately. He was able to return to track and his relay team won state two weeks later. Thanks Jason!

Sought out Jason for his skills in relieving my increasing shoulder pain. Was pleasantly surprised at the rapid relief and with a series of stretching exercises that are so easy, even I can do them. Thank you for being there.

Very comfortable environment. Jason is very professional and personable. Upon my initial visit we discussed my ailment and a treatment plan. We followed the treatment plan making little adjustments as needed. I am happy with the results.

Jason was amazing, I could not move my neck for over a month and severe main, with no help from general clinic ..I had three appointments with WAW and was out of pain and very happy to have the acupuncture and information etc. .. absolutely amazing ..so glade they have joined our community and highly recommend, very easy to work with..will be returning soon, for some much needed self care !!
