Leman Academy of Excellence (East Tucson, AZ)

I love Leman and so happy they opened a school at the Eastside!!!
I have two kids enrolled there for 4 years now and have only positive experience.
1. The school is SO very good at promoting respect, healthy attitudes, critical thinking, discipline, responsibility and love to studying and learning.
2. The teachers and staff are professional, friendly and caring.
3. As a parent I am always well informed of what is going on at school and how my kids are doing for all the info is emailed regularly. Staying updated is so important for me!
4. And, of course, the school is doing great academically! Saxon math and classical literature are absolute winners in sharpening kids minds for success. I can tell that!

We love Leman Academy Preschool! The teachers are amazing, and the administration is well thought out. Misty and Gina do an excellent job in the office, and Ty and Ginny were very patient and thorough on a daily basis with our scholar. They consistently saw potential and encouraged growth. We'd recommend to anyone!

Leman Academy has been amazing since the day they opened. Leman has always put the children's needs first, and this did not change during the pandemic, the school saw children falling behind and suffering from remote learning, so they re-opened despite the criticism. They rised above the politics and really did what was right for our kids. My children have flourished since attending Leman, and any time they fell behind there was a staff member, or a program to help them succeed. Our principal Mr. Edwards is kind and fair, he is also a parent, of elementary age children and truly understands the struggles and concerns parents find themselves in. I'm so proud to be apart of this school. Who alway put the need of the students first. If you are lucky enough to enroll your students here, don't hesitate you will not be disappointed.

Great foundational principles to educate the whole child. Great curriculum. Top notch adminstration. Thank you, Arizona, for school choice, and thank you, Dr Kevin Leman, for embarking on this monumental and needed endeavor!

Leman Is a very good school, I personally go there, but it’s a very good they always make us exceed and they have wonderful teachers who care for us.

We could not love Leman more. All four of our children attend and it is by far the best decision we have made for them! The staff is just incredible!

We absolutely love the preschool at The Leman Academy East. All of the teachers are so awesome and the director knows every kid.

Leman is such a great school I go there myself everybody is Amazing it is a lot Better then my old school I love it I could not ask to go to another school then that one.😊💙

My grandson attends this school. My grandaughter will attend in the coming school year.

Great school.

So far it’s been ok. Already had a bully issue, my son did react negatively, but was treated the same as the kid who keeps bullying him. Homework is counted for a large portion of their grade. Vail and Catalina doesn’t do that. And they are A rated schools. The communication about homework is entirely too vague. My son is struggling. Not sure if they are helping me help him! We are doing everything as parents we can The after school program, after bell, is great, however, the lady that checks the kids out of always yelling at the kids. Never helping and sort of rude. Never says hi or engages conversation to the parents. I ask my son if he gets help and they always say they are helping others. Not enough staff for the after bell. The principle is very kind. The front office, always friendly and helpful. Still fresh in the year, but we came from 2 different A rated schools. Top in Arizona actually. Unfortunately we had to move because work.
