Great campground, very spread out so lots of space between campsites. Clean restrooms. Quiet and nice views.
This is dry camping - bring your own water; there are vault toilets, garbage bins. Only a few sites are suitable for RVs and they recommend maximum 22ft for trailers.

We had a fabulous time here! Well maintained and most sites are situated to allow for maximum privacy. It's really beautiful tucked between mountains with a creek, and hiking trail right off the campground.

This campsite is pretty awesome! It also has a hiking trail right next to it. It’s spooky at night up in the mountains. Take flashlights!!

Great primitive site at about 5K feet that only got wet and windy even though the road was closed after camp set up due to snow and ice higher up the mountain

One of the first camps on Mt lemmon
Go after the rain or when the wash is flowing from the melting snow, follow the road to the back and you'll see part of the famous Arizona trail, spend a little time hiking the canyon and relax to the sound of the water flowing through the basin... Very zenfull, campers or tents. Spot 26 is fully wheel chair accessible for those who are limited in thier adventures, this area you can roll right into the camp on spot #26--good luck on your journey 😀

We love Molino and Gordon Hirabayashi. Hirabayashi has camping spots for two or three campers together, where Molino is only one camper (rv) per spot. Pit toilets, beautiful area for winter camping. Don't go down the mountain when it's storming, they usually close the road and don't allow people back up until the road has cleared.

Stayed here 12/19/20. Correct information is:
There are 3 RV sites and 34 camping sites. Sites are $20 a night and are walk in. 50% discount for America the Beautiful, Golden Age cards. There is a family site which will accommodate up to 100 people which is presently closed. This is reservable and it's $100 a night. Split 5 or 6 ways it is still good value. No water or electric, pit restroom. Open fires are allowed at present and fire pits are provided on each site.
The restrooms are well maintained as is the whole site. Very quiet, very dark. Great for star gazing. Surround by mountains/ cliffs on all sides this camp site is a real feel.

Very nice and clean. Fun moderate hiking trail. I was told its closed during the summer months but need to research that. Definitely nice during the colder seasons though.
