All of the employees at Tanque averse Bear Canyon/Catalina Highway we’re delightful, diligent and went above and beyond even on a busy day before Thanksgiving. Tracy took special care and attention to ensure I had the best price and products to make my husband sweet potato casserole and it made the world to me. The check out lady ( I wish I checked her name) was patient in counting my change as I purchased my products. The employees at Starbucks were pleasant despite long lines due to the holiday season and me only ordering a water. The lady in the bakery was also kind enough to recommend products and connect me to other professionals in the store. I can tell this store has a well working team that cares despite being away from their own family and friends. I appreciate this Safeway and the employees that make it run. Thank you for making my day!

Out of all the safeways in my area this one is my favorite. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The always have the best cuts of meat (hand trimmed little fat).

This is an awesome supermarket, it was built in 2000 and has the lifestyle interior. The lighting was replaced in the produce department in 2018, but the store is still very nice. They even have the cool thunderstorm sound in the produce department when the cold produce is sprayed, the thunder sounds have been existent in this store since it opened.

Friendly and helpful staff. I go here because it's laid out well,carts are always in good shape and for the most part decent, and respectful people seem to shop there. Hard to find theses days.

I love this store. I have been shopping here for 17 years. The clerks are all very efficient and friendly. The store is easy to navigate. The produce is high quality and fresh. These days the prices are going up here and everywhere, but I love this store, so I'll keep coming back. 😊

We've been going to this Safeway since moving to Tucson and I have to say that the staff here is phenomenal when it comes to customer service! The people who work check outs are chill and the one with the cool side shaved hair helped me out big time when I accidently left my coffee there.
Not to mention what made me decide to make this review was the very friendly interaction I had with Geoff the cashier. Very nice and set a great mood for my morning!

These people deserve major props! Customer service is hard as it is, but to do so with such an energy shows a lot of good character!

My fav safeway. Everything is organized, cleaner then most, enough staff for check out, and they have a sushi bar that I really like!

I was looking for some special items like coconut flour, etc for some health oriented recipes. Brett the manager actually walked with me to investigate their stock, consulted the internet to find similar items for ones they didn't have and took my info to see if they could order items for me. I felt like I was in a small town grocery instead of a Safeway chain store. Every one at this store was so helpful and patient. The prices were reasonable. I'm definitely changing where I shop to this store. They had almost everything I wanted in stock. Really impressive experience

Great service. All you can find. And awesome deli. Great BBQ section and skewers. Cheeses and meats are really good from the deli. Love their sushi when super fresh. Good breakfast selection.

Frys always has better deals but safe way has some great fried chicken and potato wedges. This is a convenient spot to stop for picnic supplies before heading up the mountain... i do recommend getting whatever you can from the dollar tree next door first...

Honestly the best place for potato wedges but go early in the day because they sell out quick, store is always clean and stocked especially if you’re looking for hot Cheetos they’ll always be found here

This place is good as far as supermarkets go. The people are wonderful and have worked there a while. They always refer to us by name (as in Mr. Isabelle). Usually well stocked and always organized.

Their store is clean and friendly has many options to choose from and they also have a Starbucks inside the store, bathrooms are always clean...

Could be better stocked. Understand that virus 🦠 has negative I'm pact on availability

The Safeway near the corner of Tanque Verde and Catalina Highway is clean, well stocked, and has a friendly staff. The wine, beer and spirits aisles are especially good for a grocery store. The flower shop is nice too! It can be a bit expensive.

The staff is always available to help. The meats are really good and the vegetables are fresh. The customers ... well they stop and chat. They will get items off shelves that are too high for you to reach.

Safeway is consistent and fair prices

Used to getting good food there all the time...but today I accidentally left my 1000 dollar phone on the counter....they called my contacts and got my phone back to me in an hour. It doesn't always happen that way....! Great people doing good stuff everyday... I love my neighborhood...thx Safeway folks :).

As a customer for a while, I was always felt like it had a pizzaz that Fry's didn't, even if the prices weren't quite as good. Now, as a long time courtesy clerk, I can tell you we are happy to serve you, and are determined to make you enjoy your experience.
