Cuatro Restaurant

While Mama's Fish House gets the attention on Maui, our favorite on the island is definitely Cuatro in Kihei. Phenomenal chef. We have six reservations during our 2.5 week stay and will still leave without having all of the varieties we love here. The spicy tuna wonton nachos are a MUST here. And ANY fish preparation is delicious. My wife likes their classic style, I like the house style the best. You can't go wrong here...and reservations are highly recommended as it's a small restaurant. Bring your own wine, they don't serve alcohol but it's a small corkage fee. Truly a must visit and "can't miss" when on Maui.

Food was delicious and staff were attentive without being annoying. My wife and I enjoyed eating here and would go again if we’re in the area. The restaurant is a bit on the small side, so reservations recommended if you want to eat at a specific time. They did not serve alcohol, but you could bring your own and pay a $10 cork fee, so we just grabbed some wine at the Foodland next door.

Food is excellent. The fish tasted fresh and the steak was also very good. The spicy ahi nachos were a stand out choice. The portions were good. The items were somewhat pricey at 30+ dollars per dish. There aren't too many tables, so you may have to make reservations. The pasta was also good.

This unassuming restaurant will surprise you!!! The food was amazing the the service felt very down to earth. You have to bring your own alcohol, which isn’t a problem because Foodland is right next door! Bring a bottle of wine and the servers will keep your cups full. We had the catch of the day, Mahi, it was perfection. But my absolute favorite was the Tuna Nachos! Seriously, they melt in you mouth and burst with flavor! Best thing I’ve eaten in quit awhile! I can’t wait to get back and visit this spot again for a delicious meal in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

This place is an ABSOLUTE gem. It can compete with any of the Big Name restaurants on the island. The Ahi Nachos are one of the best appetizers I have ever had. The pork entree was to die for. And of all things the Angel Hair pasta was an amazingly light and super flavorful dish.

This is our favorite place to eat on Maui! We look forward to at least two dinners here every January. It is small, reservations are essential, and you bring your own wine. The food is exceptional. My wife told me while we were in the restrant that we were going to go back again to Cuatro the next night and we did! That’s how good this place is. Don't let the short menu fool you, everything on it is awesome! We had the shrimp scampi, the chicken and the steak, well actually 2 scampis. The Cesar salad is excellent and the deserts were great too. It ends up being pricey for a family of 4 but the food was phenomenal. Next time I want to try the catch of the day in one if their 4 preparations.

What an awesome place in Maui. Hidden in a corner close to a pharmacy. It came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. Especially liked the Asian style pupu steak as starter which could have been an entrée and spicy tuna nachos. I had the surf and turf three course meal with the fresh mahi mahi and shrimps. Had a very nice dinner here. Prices are not cheap but worth of it. Funny that you bring your own drinks here. They take a bottle fee of 10 dollars.

One of the best dinners & easily the best waiter on the island (I think his name was Tyler). Ahi Nachos were fire. Steak & catch or the day were perfect. Desert was also on point photo

We really enjoyed everything we ordered, from the appetizers to the dessert. We started with outstanding Ahi nachos and very tender crab cakes. Hebi (spearfish) in classic sauce was super fresh, creamy and flavorful. Ahi in mauiterranean sauce was just melting in the mouth. Sundae with fruits and berries was a grand finale of this entertaining and delicious dinner.

Great little restaurant tucked I tonthe corner. Staff was very attentive. Limited menu right now, but the food was excellent. The Ahi Nachos were wow, the rib eye steak was excellent, and the surf and turf special was perfect. The macadamia Carmel ice cream desert is the die for.

Really impressed with the food and service. Make reservations days in advance, as they have a very small.seating footprint, made smaller by Covid.

Was highly recommended by friends and did not disappoint. Small restaurant in a shopping plaza that greatly exceeded expectations. The South of the Border Marinated Pork was amazing and the Acapulco Shrimp Scampi was also very good. Will add to our must visit list every time we are in Maui.

Delicious local cuisine. Friendly staff. We had the Lumpia, Pupu steak and crabcakes. Finished off dinner with the decadent cheesecake. Presentation was spot on.

Best food we ate on Maui. This was recommended by locals, we wouldn’t have found it otherwise. The ahi tuna is the best we ate... I could eat it the rest of my life. Service was amazing. Run here. It’s amazing.

Small restaurant, great food and service. Atmosphere is ok but at this place, it's more about the food than anything else. No alcohol on menu but can bring your own.
