The at Dhakar Dentistry is outstanding from top to bottom. Top quality work, Quick, friendly staff, affordable. My whole experience here from X-rays to tooth cleaning to extraction was as pleasant as a dentist trip can be.

Dr. Dhakar is extremely talented at what he does and has phenomenal bedside manner. I went in for a double tooth extraction and was amazed at how simple and pain free it was. Similarly my prior visit for a cleaning and X-rays was equally as nice. Dhakar was honest and straightforward without shaming me for not having better oral hygiene. And to boot, this was the least painful tooth cleaning I’ve ever had.

The practice runs efficiently. No extended waiting for scheduled appoints. Every assistant did wonderful job woth the prep work and shout out the woman who polished me teeth, you were great. They are also nice, willing to make jokes which makes the stress of the dentist so much more bearable.

The front desk human is also wonderful and patient. She helped with insurance questions and just gives off good vibes.

This is one of the best dental practices in Virginia. Everyone was very professional. Dr. Dhakar successfully did two extractions with zero pain. Best Dentistry ever been to I literally have been looking for a dentist for years that takes my insurance they do work with you and it’s affordable. Aside from money Jeanie the receptionist is amazing she helped me get everything in order from start to finish with no hassle or frustration thank you Jennie. Carly the dental assistant also amazing she made it very easy and explained all steps with detail also executed her job with personal perfection thank you Carly. Last but certainly not least there is Dhakar the dentist he is very amazing at what he does I felt no pain during my teeth extraction which I was very nervous about but to my surprise he made it very painless and cared to clean my teeth before and X-ray after to be sure all tooth fragments were correctly removed thank Dhakar.

While searching for a dentist in my new area I stumbled upon Dhakar Family Dentistry. I spoke with Taylor while scheduling an emergency appointment and she was awesome! She was kind, welcoming, and provided expertise that helped alleviate my problem until I am able to get into the office. First impressions mean everything and can make or break a relationship. Taylor wowed me and if her care and concern. She definitely made the office shine!

Doctor Dhakar and his staff where excellent! They where accommodating, very friendly and professional. My daughter and I went to the dentist together. They made it a fun experience! I was not scheduled that day but they fit me in for a cleaning and x-rays. Everything was affordable. We have made our next appointment and will continue to go to this wonderful dentistry.

Last weekend I had a broken tooth that was infected and excruciating. I chose this office because of its reasonable prices and ability to see me quickly, but I will continue to use this office due to the outstanding service I received. Everyone was personable, professional, and kind, from the receptionist to the nurses to the amazing doctor himself. The procedure was very quick and very nearly painless. Even my recovery was speedier than expected! My deepest gratitude to the entire staff for making a horrid situation the best it could possibly be. Kudos, kudos, kudos!

My husband and I walked in 5 minutes before they were scheduled to close for New Years Eve. Not only was he welcomed, but all of the staff stayed late to help us, and to make sure he was comfortable through the whole process. They all came into the room and gave both my husband and I all the assurances needed to make this a wonderful experience for us and especially my husband.
Dr. Dhakar and his staff stayed to the end and no one had a complaint we kept them there an additional hour and a half. I thank you all for helping us in our time of need and doing it with a smile on your face and joy in your heart. I highly recommend you to anyone who is in need of your care. Thank you so much.

I had a wonderful experience. As a person who is terrified of the dentist Dr. Surya Dhakar helped reassure me that everything would be fine. He kept his word and was able to complete an extraction with no pain and very quickly. His staff was wonderful as well.

Came here in desperation on memorial day weekend. Needed an emergency dentist for a tooth that was killing me. I didn't want to go anywhere sketchy and I am glad I chose this place based on all the other positive reviews and they definitely lived up to the professionalism. Very nice location and office. Friendly staff, opened on time. No wait. The dentist was very practiced and I felt very comfortable. He pulled my tooth out with no pain at all. I was in and out in less than an hour.

I've been going to this dental practice since they've opened and they are amazing at what they do. I've paid out of pocket over a thousand dollars for work and had insurance cover some things and my experience has always been consistently good. My recent experience was an emergency extraction that they fit me in to take care of although they are booked through Jan 2022. They do accept Medicaid/Medicare and that is a blessing bc not many dentist take Medicaid/Medicare for adults who are not pregnant. Medicaid/Medicare does not reimburse dentist nearly enough for certain procedures and that is the reason most dentist stay away from it. Even though they do accept Medicaid/Medicare they aren't just doing the quick work (cleanings, fillings, exams, x-rays, consults), they do complicated extractions, root canals with build-up, and other time-consuming procedures that they aren't reimbursed enough for, but are trying to help the community that needs this type of work more than ever. Because you have free will, you can choose to go to whichever dentist you want to, but if you choose to go to a dentist that accepts the minimally reimbursed insurances then be patient, the way they will be with you and your unhealthy mouth, or go somewhere else.

Dhakar family dentistry offers great service at a very affordable price. Dentists here are really nice and made my visit extremely comfortable. I have been to both of their locations - west end and this one. Dr. Aditya Dhakar is the best dentist in town. I highly recommend this place to people with any dental problem! This place is super nice and clean! I wish I could give 10 stars out of 5 cause this place deserves it!

I went there yesterday for a tooth extraction and it was a great experience! I went in with a lot of anxiety and fear over my dental health, but they were very reassuring and helpful through that process. The tooth extraction process was very quick and painless. The only pain I felt was the needle going in, but that pain lasted maybe 20 seconds? The made sure the area was completely numb and gave me an extra shot on the numbing stuff when I raised my hand to make it aware that there was pain. Before I left, they double checked that I was aware of all that I needed to do for after care and were just really great and helpful people. I have more dental work that needs to be done, and I am for sure coming back here for it!

I would give this place 6 stars if there was an extra one available to do so. I have been to several well respected high end dentists in town during my life. Not only is this guy so much more reasonably priced but his care made them look like novices. I have had extractions performed 2 different times before in my life. Both times I ended up with the teeth being broken and had pieces come out later after infection brought them to the surface. This guy was almost like a magician. He removed my tooth so quickly, fluidly and fully intact in less than 60 seconds without so much as a wince from me. I have never had an experience with a dentist be so smooth and painless. The entire staff was great. The receptionist was friendly and extremely personable as well as the hygienist. Not only that but I got out of there with x-rays, exam and an extraction for what I've paid for just a consult and a teeth cleaning. I plan on telling everyone i know about this guy. He even gave me 2 coffee cups and really nice pens just because. I could go on forever but I couldn't say enough good about this dentist and his practice. i plan on scheduling more work with him asap. Thanks Doc for the painless and personable service. I mean it.

Dr.Dahkar is the best!!! His staff is also very nice. I was scared to have an extraction done. This was my first time having my tooth pulled. He told me everything would be alright let him take care of me!!! He did just that no pain at all!!! He is so nice and gentle with you he make sure you are not in any pain!!! I recommend him if you are looking for a good dentist!!! Thanks again Dr. Dahkar you are the best!!!

Dr. Dhakar is awesome. I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist at all. However Dr. Dhakar was very compassionate and soothing while I was in the chair. I had to have an extraction and I'm telling you he was the BEST dentist ever. He numbed me up real good and before I knew it BAM my tooth was gone pain free. He will now be my family and I new dentist! Great experience for my first visit there!

Absolutely the best Dental experience within this office! I found this practice the beginning of June in a huge rush to complete A LOT of necessary neglected dental work, and was able to complete all procedures within the past month. Dr. Jain was my main dentist, and everything from her professionalism to her knowledge and expertise and the way she treated her support staff was excellent. Dr. Dhakar performed a wisdom tooth extraction for me on a day that Dr. Jain wasn't able to, and once again, nothing but professionalism, patience and expertise. This whole office beginning from the front desk staff (Andrea), to the dental assistants/hygienists to the Dentists, are friendly, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. I've always hated going to the dentist, but now have a completely different viewpoint. Anyone who needs a knowledgeable, friendly and patient dentist, you will not regret checking out this practice! Hands down the best dentist office I've been to.
On the phone they were very friendly, kind and very professional.
They got me in the same day and did an amazing job. I will HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and everyone. And I will for sure come back for all my teeth work from now on. 5 stars all the way around!

This is a fantastic Dentistry. I am and always have been terrified of dentists, but once I read the reviews here I decided to give it a try. I knew I needed a lot of work done, and both the dentist and all the nurses were wonderful and made me feel at ease during the procedures and always checked if I was in pain or needed a break. Another added bonus is the price! Everything was very affordable, especially compared to other dentists in Richmond. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

My experience was overall great. I was extremely nervous in the beginning being that I haven't had an extraction done in a while. Dr.Jane made the experience pleasant and less weary...she was quick and precise...I didn't even know the tooth was out it happened so quick...
