Brookside At Irving Park

For some reason the groundskeeping companies contracted by either Brookside or the Country Club Condos fire up their loud leaf blowers at 8:30 a.m. once a week, making it difficult to have a phone call or listen to television.

I’m a resident here and have been for about a year. there’s not enough parking spaces to share between residents which results in having to park across the lot most nights, and there’s no video surveillance on the entire property so it’s not a comforting feeling. I also find it to be a slap in the face that we also aren’t even allowed to share the courtyard kwith the Country club condos that are located DIRECTLY in the middle of our property. My car has been broken into once throughout my residency right outside my unit. There was a roach problem when we first moved in that had to be taken care of aswell. Management is super hard to get in contact with unless they’re towing your car.
While the inside of some are nice & the location is unbeatable I don’t find it to be honest worth the trouble this property has.
Update: 10/03/2022- the roach problem is still active due to the volume of the issue and management refusing to spray entire building. It’s like every-man-for-himself, the theft has worsened and the conditions of the building aswell.
