The Village Grille & Pump

Arrived to an extremely busy restaurant for brunch today. However we were met by our server Patrick who could not have been more welcoming considering the pressure they were under. He brought us our Tito’s bloody Mary’s promptly and explained to us that it would be a bit of a wait considering the volume of business but kept us aware of the time factor. Breakfast arrived sooner than expected and was delicious, drinks were delivered promptly but Patrick’s attention to detail deserved recognition. Looking forward to stopping by again this week and in the future, a rare hidden gem on the Fort Lauderdale coast.

This place is filled with great vibes and energy!! The food is always hot and delicious and the service is dished out with genuine smiles. Matt and carly at the main bar were top notch and then visited Anna at the martini bar for a perfect ending to the night. This place is a must go to!

We have been to this place a few times, and every time I find myself saying, I really need to do a good review for this place, and then you know… life happens. Ate there yesterday, so my newly disciplined self will write the review. Every time we have stopped in we have felt quite welcomed. The food was great, and fresh, and the portions are generous. Prices are definitely in line with the area. Our server was David this time and he was terrific. I will also say our service has always been top notch here. Definitely now on the list for our “go to” place!

Me and my girlfriend went for breakfast/brunch the place is really nicely and right by the beach. Mariana was our server she was AMAZING!!! she was attentive, sweet, and knowledgeable. We had mimosas, my girlfriend got pancakes and I got eggs benedict. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed my breakfast. However, the price on the menu for both meals was 1 dollar more than listed.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at village grille and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming ambiance. The restaurant’s decor was elegant yet cozy, setting the perfect mood for a memorable evening.

Now, let’s talk about the food - wow! The menu offered a diverse selection, and each dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. From appetizers to desserts, every bite was a delightful explosion of flavors. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was on point.

Whenever we are at our home way from home, we visit The Pump. The food is always good and the service is great. There is New England sports memorabilia on the walls, and the decor is accented by decals of just about every New England police, fire, and rescue department. Alongside the main bar, located in the middle of the building, there is a sushi restaurant on one end and a more formal dining room on the other. The bar is very popular and can get quite loud. But, that only adds to the atmosphere where everyone is welcome.

This venue is very popular with the locals. They have all the sports you want to watch. The food is very good and the staff is always friendly. Live music bands. I've been coming here for many years. Highly recommend! 🙂 Evelyn

But my wife has allergies and was having episodes anywhere near AC vents when they came on which appeared to have black mold on the bottom of them at back pump bar too !!

Just FYI… the menu posted is not up to date. We literally left another restaurant to come here thinking the prices were better for same food dishes. They were not!

Pretty nice place, the environment was really good, my girl got the Mahi sandwich, it was the best thing, my cocktail was the Mango Tango, it was fantástic, our server was Kat, she was so nice, very kind, taking care of us, loved, loved the place, the food, service and everything, and is kinda front of the beach, so you done eating you to the beach walking, Absolutely amazing

Excellent and, most importantly, fresh food! We ate at "The Village Pump" for almost a week, and everything was delicious. The food was consistently good, from the salads to the sushi and burgers. Definitely five stars, if not six :)

Stopped in for lunch after the beach and enjoyed our experience! I ordered the Crispy Fishes entrée and liked everything in it, it was a big plate too. My wife ordered the cheeseburger and was also happy with that. Do try the sangria both kinds were very good.

Just arrived and were so hungry! Quick service, very friendly staff, reasonable prices and delicious food! Great selection! We will be back!

Super excited to have found this beach vibe! If you are looking for a laid back vibe with high quality cuisine you want to check out this place.

We are lucky enough to get a table without a reservation and we didn’t have to wait long to get sat. The drinks were amazing as well, it was a one and done type of night and one was definitely enough. The plates are reasonably portioned and you will leave the table feeling satisfied.

This is a definite recommendation for a relaxing date night or a quick bite with friends.

AMAZING place! The food was awesome, one of the best places in town, and very close to the water! Everything we had was delicious, we will be coming back. Best coconut shrimp I have ever had!

This is my favorite spot in Lauderdale by the sea! The food is much better than the other nearby restaurants.

Try the bar bites menu a great Tappas style menu that is very sharable.

Parking is street or lot close by, we like to visit once a week. Under construction but still open!

We almost had a bad experience for waiting over 20 without anyone coming over to take our order. I asked the hostess, who was super nice, and she got someone else to help us out. The waitress was super apologetic for someone else’s mistake. Food was literally the best I’ve had in Fort Lauderdale. I will definitely be back 😋

Quiet place great view taste and price decent, fast service . The area is beautiful.
