Great hike, gets a bit steep but still a fairly easy to moderate trail. Cascade falls is beautiful. Fire tower at top gives 360° view of area.

Great views from the hang gliding platform if you're not interested in the crowds at the summit tower. Fun hike up Weathersfield trail and typically plenty of streams for dogs although many of them do dry up late summer so plan accordingly

I had planned just to walk briskly through the park, getting exercise while peripherally soaking in the early spring ambience. I was interrupted constantly by a symphony of ponds and plants and streams, and decaying trees in the process of returning to the earth, forcing me to stop and take pictures. The beauty was almost overwhelming. I only got 2 miles in but there are 4 miles of trails, including Lake Runnemede, which I just skimmed.

BEAUTIFUL! Climb to the top of Mt. Ascutney and you can see for miles! Check ahead of time to see if the mountain road is open if you want to drive to the top. Otherwise it is a pretty steep hike.

Great trails, though it may be challenging for children or those not acclimated to hiking. Great views from the lookout tower on the summit!

Part of the mountain biking and hiking trails of Mount Ascutney. One of the largest networks in the area with quite a bit of challenging single track.

Went mountain biking in the Ascutney Mtn area. In spite of rain and slippery conditions I will be back! I suspect dry conditions to be outstanding.
