My son and I hunted with Tom and Jason this season for the first time. They run a first class operation and provide great hunting opportunities in Buffalo County. My son shot his first buck and hasn't stopped talking about it. I really appreciate Tom and Jason's contribution to my sons success. We saw plenty of other big bucks but couldn't get a clear shot, that's hunting. More importantly my son and I bonded on this trip and he's already talking about next season, couldn't ask for anything more. We will no doubt hunt with BCB again next year!

Buffalo County Bucks is an outstanding business. The accommodations are top notch. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I was guided by Pete, Paul, Max and Alex. They all were professional and shared hunting strategies. I had a fantastic experience and I am signing up for next year.

Very enjoyable hunting experience and quality of bucks. Pete and crew work hard on stand placement, hunting ground and hunter satisfaction. Buck opportunities have happened for our group on a yearly basis, and we really enjoy making the most of it!

I've hunted all over the US, Canada and Africa. As a traditional archer my needs are different than those hunting wife a rifle or compound bow. I like to be up close and personal at eye level with game to maximize my likelihood of recovery after the shot. My hunt with Buffalo County Bucks was awesome!!! The quality of game was outstanding, the people were second to none, everything was perfectly set up to fit my needs and it was non-stop hunting excitement. I arrowed my largest buck ever. I'll be back next November and probably every November after that. I was planning to buy a hunting camp in the U.P. of Michigan (where I live), but I've scrapped that idea and will put the money that would have went to mortgage, taxes and maintenance into a couple nice hunts each year. Buffalo County Bucks will be one of those for sure.

I brought my son out to Buffalo County Bucks for an adventure. From the scenery, stands, food, lodging, guides, and of course the deer! They have some of the biggest bucks I have ever seen in the wild. What a great time I had bonding with my son. Highly recommend Tom and Jason’s adventure, they care about you and that’s evident!

I have Bow hunted with this outfitters for over ten years. During those years I have harvested 4 nice bucks and had opportunities that I passed on almost every year. The hunts are free range and do require time in the stand to be successful. Each year it seems like new properties are added to the options available. The cabins used are very well maintained and there is excellent food right next door at the Waumandee House.
Whenever I have needed anything Joe, Paul or one of the other guys are more than willing to help out.
I have found all hunting sites to be within 30-45 mn of the cabins. Look forward to 2017.

Buffalo County Wisconsin is the number one destination to harvest a mature whitetail. BCBI outfitters, Pete and Paul, work tirelessly for their clients for an opportunity to harvest a mature whitetail in a fair chase, free range setting. No easy task and they are very successful at this. They work year round obtaining leases on prime parcels, checking trail cameras, collecting sheds, and analyzing stand placement. Lodging is clean and comfortable. The Waumandee house is located across the parking lot and has excellent food. Dan and his staff are friendly and efficient.
All hunters should vet the outfitters before putting their money down. BCBI is a first class outfitter. I have hunted with them for the past 4 years and am going back for the 2017 season.

Always a good hunt and time with Pete and Paul. Dropped a 150 nine pointer first hunt of rifle season 2016. I am booked for bow hunt this October and rifle hunt again. Very organized and lots of Intel from multiple cameras. The accommodations at Waumandee Resort are great. Highly recommend this free range hunt.

I've hunted with Pete and Paul for 2 years and I'll be back every year. This isn't high fence, canned hunting. This is fair chase deer hunting in the best county for whitetail hunting in all of the US. Pete and Paul secure productive land, scout for sign, survey with several cameras, and work hard to pattern big bucks. So if you want the chance to be in a post, see a monster buck, and try to slip and arrow into his chest...then these are your guys. If you're somebody that wants to be delivered to a heated box blind with a leather recliner so you can kill a farm raised deer in a fenced-in enclosure then you should go elsewhere. This is an opportunity to hunt with good guys who do a lot of the leg work that goes into diligent whitetail hunting so that my time away from my family is spent hunting with a chance to kill a dandy of a whitetail. I killed an 8.5 year old 9 pointer in 2015 and missed an opportunity on a tall B&C 8 pointer in 2016 (after passing on several small 8s).

Hunted with BCB for the first time in 2017. We had a great experience. Great guides and a class operation. In the heart of big buck country. This is real fair chase hunting so naturally not everyone will harvest a big buck every year however Peter and the guides do their best to help you be successful. I will continue to give Peter my business in the future.

I don’t often post reviews but I thought it necessary to post one for Buffalo County Bucks in Buffalo County, WI. My father and I just completed our hunt from 9/16-9/20 for the opening of bow season (2017) in WI. I cannot begin to express my thankfulness to this group for the fantastic facilities, guides, and hunting locations this outfitter provided. The weather was unseasonably warm and despite this, my father and I saw many deer including several first and second year bucks. Every blind we were put in provided an opportunity for “the big one” to come in. The deer here are not tame and although the opportunity for a world class deer exists at every location, they are not paraded in front of you. My father and I found the deer to be more difficult and “spooked” more easily than the deer we were used to. When you sign up for a hunt with this group, they take you to the best spots, they give you the best advice, and provide the best opportunity to have a world class buck walk in front of you. I was fortunate to have that happen on my last day. Thank you BCB!

I called Pete out of the blue mid gun season 2017 he was super helpful and I had a friend that had never shot a whitetail. so I would not be the hunter but the camera guy, Pete was more then willing to make this hunt happen for us and while it was the last few days of 2017 gun season we still saw deer! No we did not shoot a buck but we got a doe. So mission accomplished first whitetail! And I will tell you straight up thats how hunting goes we only had 2 days to try. Pete and max busted thier butts for us!! The ground they hunt is very good ground cuz I saw the trail cam photos the big boys are there!!! it just wasn't our day it happens. I would highly recommend this great group of men to anyone. Pete was in constant contact with us little tips like on this property they move late in the morning so don't get nervous and guess what wow the guide was right shot the doe at 9 am browsing. Or another location they like to come out down in that corner and mill around so keep close eye on that area sure enough 345 pm thats where they were. And max is the man! not sure if that guy sleeps? checking cameras for up to date and time movements to put you on the best and current deer movement. First class all the way around. I was a fishing guide in AK for along time I know when guides are trying and these two did everything in their power to get my buddy Bruce his buck. I will be booking with them in the future. Two very very happy hunters. Cabins are very nice food at the house is good. Only complaint I have is couldn't stay longer to get that booner at the pig farm! 😥

I chose this outfitter after a lot of research for my bowhunting friends Birthday. Five star experience. Extremely organized, knowledgeable, passionate about the sport and the animals. First rate outfit and the Bucks were unbelievable.
Highly recommend these guys. We will definately be going back.

This was my first time hunting and I had no experience in the field. Pete, Max, and Joel were all instrumental on me landing my first buck! I couldn't have been any more pleased and they truly went above and beyond to be sure I had a successful hunt!

My son and I had a great time! Pete and Max worked tirelessly to put us on deer. We saw lots of deer and he killed a big doe on the last evening. Memories of a lifetime! Thanks for making us feel so special!!

Well placed stands,safe, many diffrent types.I have hunted 4 times with BCB have had oppurtunities to harvest bucks each occassion. This is a great value hunt in the number 1 county in US. Very clean and comfortable lodging.I highly recommend this hunt.

Hunter Dean: Opening morning gun season Dean saw a Shooter Buck
150" which I told him was working a scrape below him in his blind
per cameras...8 am he did not shoot. However, he did shoot a Doe
that evening 3 pm prime time and let it lay dead next to his blind
Bitter cold and 30 mph winds made it a difficult opener, I did offer
another hunt which he denied..BCBI guides are excellent and work hard for every hunter...
Hunter Roger: We asked Roger if he had any special needs during his hunt..Yes, I want to park my car 40 yards or closer to my gun blind
so I can leave anytime, well, I offered to pick him up anytime with the guide, he declined..opening day Roger hunted 1 hour and drove back to the cabin, we offered warmer clothes,heaters he declined..this happened
3 times before noon opening day of gun season...That afternoon he shot
at a Buck and missed.We offered other heated blinds etc...
I offered another free hunt to Roger if he would come more prepared
for his hunt and we would try to accommodate all of his needs..
He Declined....Please Note BCBI is not a fenced hunt......

Buffalo County bucks is most definitely the place to go they go out of their way to help their Hunters succeed I myself had a very good hunt I tagged out the first morning Halloween day 2017 with a very nice 9 pointer that I am very happy with thanks again Buffalo County bucks can't wait to hunt there again
