Bethesda Anesthesia Associates Inc

Evidently this is a ghost business. I received a notice from a collection agency for a past due bill from 11-2021. Its' now 1-2023. I never received an invoice from this facility and the anesthesiologist's name on the account with the agency does not appear to belong to a real person. None of the phone numbers that were given to me by the facility where my procedure was performed actually connect to a business. The address used by Bethesda Anesthesia Associates Inc. is actually a mobile home in Briney Breezes.

This is the worst place where anyone can have a bill & I believe they are somewhat associated or are related in some way with Frost-Barnett which is a collections agency. I was making payments on this account in good faith and suddenly received a notice from this agency. I called Bethesda Anesthesia to correct this information and they said they couldn’t pull the account from collections unless I paid in full. I said absolutely not. I made an agreement with an individual when I first received the bill to make payments and I have been doing so on time. I asked the lady to let me speak to her manager and she kept me on hold and I called back and I got a customer service person named Kenny and he was able to pull my account back from Frost Arnett and I was able to make a payment. I don’t know who the individual that first answered the phone but she was an idiot.

They'll not bill you up front... wait 6 months before sending a bill to an address you no longer live at. Since you don't know who they are when you go in for a surgery, and you don't know you have a bill from them, you think they'd call you when you fail to pay, but no. Instead they'll wait a year and a half after that to send you to collections! Get your billing department fixed and send out bills in a timely fashion so you stop messing up peoples credit for your incompetence!

They collected coinsurance up front, then collected from my insurance. The EOB shows that they over billed me by more than a thousand dollars and am owed a refund. They have been giving me the run around for 18 months. DO NOT USE THEM.
