Absolutely amazing collection of over 2500 accordions. You can easily spend a few hours looking around and chatting with the owner or volunteers. Coming into the museum without any previous knowledge of accordions, I feel like I've learned so much from visiting. I'm definitely going to make an effort to come back, and I would highly recommend a visit.

A wonderful and marvelous place.
Worth the drive from anywhere.
The building & the music are heavenly!
Also, Helmi Harrington is one of the most friendly and warm people.
She has a PhD in Music from the University of Texas and her mother was one of the original accordionists in the state of Texas. Her mother was also my accordion teacher and was from Cologne Germany. She was a Hohner poster girl and master teacher, her whole life. She was very proud of this museum and her daughter.

Very charming accordion museum in an old Presbyterian church. Tracy gave my wife and I a thoughtful, curated tour of the collection and workshop. I knew nothing about accordions before, but I know a lot now! You can tell all the staff here are passionate about and are proud of the collection.

Whatever you imagine, there is more!
It's worth a visit even if you didn't think you were interested in accordions. The building is so beautiful, a former church.

This is a rare treasure of a place where the history of accordion is being actively preserve. This museum has some very old instruments to more modern models.

The tour will provide information you may never find on the internet and the ladies are willing to give a mini concert.

Such a fantastic hidden gem, so many accordions and pieces of history. The woman that runs the museum is so knowledgeable about everything in the collection. The main hall is so beautiful. More people need to know about this local wonder.

I was told it is a great idea to check the website to get a schedule of their performances and to come on one of those days, we are planning to make another visit during another one of their performances.

And all the years that this place has been there, I've never had a chance to go in. It is truly a really interesting place to visit and to see all the different types of accordions that they have. And be able to learn about all the history of the accordion and how it started and how they work. It's very unique and a very cool place to see

What an awesome museum....over 1,000 accordions of all makes, shapes and sizes. We arranged for a guided tours which was excellent. The guide, Helmi, runs the museum and knows everything and she has a great sense of humor. Highly recommended.

The ladies who worked there were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, talkative, and passionate about what they were doing. It is by far one of the best places we have visited on vacation. Highly recommend coming here if you need something to do and be prepared to meet some amazing dogs as well.

I have been to this museum exactly two times. That's one visit for every person who still plays the accordian.

11/10 while the accordians were very cool to look at I'm now haunted by a ghost who does nothing but play Polka music when I'm trying to sleep.

The largest accordion museum in the world! This museum contains a comprehensive collection of historical accordions as well as the estates of Charles Magnante, Hugo Herrmann, Frank Gaviani, Elsie Bennett, Willard Palmer and more! Thousands of accordions, huge libraries of music and books. All curated by the very knowledgeable Dr. Helmi Strahl Harrington. Not to missed!

Great history of accordions, showing the evolution over time and variations by the country where they were made. Most of the ones on display (hundreds!) are in playing condition.
