Dr Sauer is one of the best veterinarians in the area. She really does have a gift for diagnosis and treatment. I have known her and her work for a little over 20 years, when she was a staff veterinarian at the clinic I had been taking my pets to for years. When the clinic owner sold the practice and retired, Dr Sauer went out on her own and I followed her. About 4 years ago I started using a veterinary practice closer to my home. Just recently, my little girl started having some pretty significant issues, and didn't appear to be getting better. I took her to Dr Sauer for a 2nd opinion. She immediately diagnosed the problem, did blood work to confirm, and when the results did indeed confirm her suspicion, she began a course of treatment, and now my little girl is on the mend!! (So much for saving on drive time! )

I can't say enough what an exceptional veterinarian Dr Sauer is, and in addition, she has a very caring and competent staff. If you are looking for veterinary medical care in the Fort Myers area, I highly recommend Fort Myers Veterinary Hospital

This place was so nice and accommodating during the sad time of putting our big boy down. At 345pm, no one else would take us as an emergency, but them. I'm so glad they helped Capone cross over.

We have been taking our dogs here for about 13/14 years. We love Dr. Sauer. She is very personal and thorough. It's obvious she is doing what she loves and is very passionate. The staff is the best. They are like a small family there. Especially Amanda. She has been there since we have been taking our dogs there. She is so sweet and our dogs love her.

I've been going here for a few years because from the start they treated my baby girl and me with such genuine care. They know their clients and going there always feels like seeing extended family. I first showed up there with my pug having weight issues and a stone that had to be surgically removed. She's such a happy pug because this place partners with me in caring for her the best way possible! Knowledgeable, intentional, and I love them!

I just took my kitty MiMi to Dr.Sauer for the first time this week and her staff was absolutely amazing , (especially Amanda )so friendly communication one of the best services I have ever had ! I had to leave Mimi overnight and Dr. Sauer called me the next morning and explained everything with such detail and it was such a relief to know Mimi was kept in such a awesome environment and taken well care of Mimi will now be a permanent patient. Thank You all from the bottom if my heart. You guys are truly AMAZING 😻 .

Best vet I have ever been to. They were extremely professional but warm and welcoming at the same time. Very caring with the animals. Explained everything going on with my pet really clearly and answered questions no other vet had been able to. Would absolutely recommend.

While on vacation, our dog, Brisket, started having some minor issues that were causing major worry.

Dr. Saur is amazing with animals! My one dog, Penelope, loves going to her “day spa” to see the ladies and get her check ups! My other dog’s life, Reggie, was saved thanks to her knowledge and quick thinking! He bit an animal that died of rat poisoning and therefore he was poisoned too. She asked the right questions to get the right information and was right on the ball! He showed improvement almost immediately once he got the right meds to help combat the poison! The girls also followed up later that week to ensure he was doing well! They also take amazing care of my senior cat of 16 years. Again, Dr, Saur and her staff were right on top of it when the cat needed some medicine for her hyperthyroidism. Pam and Mary truly love my animals and they treat them as one of their own! They are always pleasant and professional! I know my animals are in great hands with this team! Thanks again ladies for all you do my family and animals!

Great hospital plus boarding facility at good and reasonable prices.

It was heartbreaking for me to have to have my 16 year old friend and furbaby put to sleep. He meant the world to my wife and me. He was unlike any other furry friend I have ever had. I won't call him a pet. He was a loving friend.

Everyone at this clinic are professional and compassionate people. As difficult as it was to lose my friend, they made it peaceful for him and let me comfort him through his journey into his next life. I love him and miss him. If I ever had to go through this again I would want this office to be there with me.

Very good service, great staff and prompt service. One of the best vets I've encountered. They always remember my dogs names even if its on a phone call following up. Will recommend to anyone wanting to take excellent care of their pets.

Wonderful experience, great energy in the office. We came to her because we had a bad experience with with Associates of Veterinary Medicine giving my cat a vaccine improperly, and without my consent. I was visibly affected by that experience, but Dr. Sauer's and her staff handled me with compassion and understanding. They took good care of our cat, who has some serious issues. And, Dr. Sauer didn't push vaccines when she realized I wasn't a big fan. We plan to go back to Dr. Saeur with all of our pets. Highly recommended.

After relocating to Fort Myers , I needed a vet for my 12 year old dog and finding Fort Myers Veterinary Hospital is a blessing . The entire staff was amazing and the true care they showed my old girl brought tears to my eyes. The Dr. took her time explaining everything to me and was so caring , a true hero to animals .
