Dr. Devell R. Young, MD

Great bedside manner. He takes the time to thoroughly go over ANY and EVERY question you may have. He has a timer that is supposed to keep him on schedule but never neglects his patients for times sake. I would/have recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor!

Dr. Young was my doctor for over 15 years maybe 20. He was a good dr. He was my family members dr as well. I lost my husband to suicide in 2011.Dr. Young knew this..he was my husband dr. too. I couldn’t get Social Security for myself from him because you have to be 62. I fell behind on bills including dr. Young bills. I filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy and informed Dr. Young office to inform them. I received a letter from Dr. Young saying basically I can care for you 30 days , find a doctor, I can no longer care for you. So all the ones that may go through a hardship and can’t pay him right then .. cause I filed Chapter 13..If you file bankruptcy you may be dropped.. I even cried to his bill person in his office before I filed cause they basically made me put it on my Care Credit card or not get seen. I was told this is not a free clinic.. they proved that.. I was free to go.. no money no dr.I now have a new Dr. I’m just sad how he dropped me with no problem. Be blessed everyone.

This isn't a case against Dr. Young but he has a Physician's Assistant in his office that either needs to be retrained or needs another line of work. The physical she performed was less than acceptable at all. Dr. Young has been my primary care physician for about 11 years but after recently experiencing a visit with the PA, I am probably switching to another doctor. Not to mention my appointment was at 9 am and I didn't leave until 10:40 am.
