Great place to eat actually like it a lot better than longhorn. All employees were nice and stayed on top of our table making sure we had what we needed and full drinks. Will definitely go back the food was just fantastic an you must try the croissant appetizer

The menu is chocked full of delicious meals; however, I usually have the prime rib which J Peters are known for. A dining experience that you will enjoy!

We went in and the staff are all very nice! We got the cheese fries and honey butter croissants for an appetizer. Their salads are Big for a side salad and come with the croissant. We got the 14 oz ribeye steak that was not on the menu and only 27.99 for the plate which in my book isnt bad at All for how perfectly cooked it is!! We only eat them medium rare. We usually dont eat steaks out when we can cook them the way we want at home but theirs is Good! Will Definitely go back if in the area and Definitely will send someone to try!!

Why my friend waited until the last minute to take me here I do not know. This place offers Great food, excellent service, and good prices. I love me some good ribs and J Peters didn't disappoint. The service was outstanding! The price was right for my group. Enjoy!

We drove over from SC and had a great meal today in Lavonia GA. Our server, Emily, took very good care of us. The steak and salmon were delicious, our salads were fresh and loaded, and the potato skin appetizers were incredible. No room for dessert! It was certainly worth the drive.

Popular dinner spot for locals, and a convenient stop for drivers on I-85...easy on and off the Interstate. My second time here and the food and service have been above average each time. I enjoyed the blackened tuna sandwich with fries. An economical and filling option for dinner. Pro tip: for faster service, sit in the bar area...the bartender is on it!

Called in a order to go after being highly recommended. This chicken tender salad was amazing. The lady who checked me out was very nice and it was hard to decide what to get because the menu is loaded with a little bit of everything. Will definitely come back when not working and try some different. Had to go back again before I left and the flounder and shrimp was amazing.

Absolutely love JPeters! Shauna is an AWESOME server! We never have an empty glass and she's always there when we need something. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very friendly.

We really enjoy the times we get to stop and eat at J. Peters. The food is fantastic and the staff is amazing!

You have to get the prime rib. It's juicy and tender and way more than you'll be able to eat in one setting.

The salads come with a honey butter drizzled croissant or you can order a plate of them. Tender, flaky, buttery goodness. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered the fried shrimp this time. The portion was large and just what I was looking for.

My wife ordered the prime rib and I'll be having her left overs for breakfast. 😀

Back to the salad. It comes with an amazing topping of warm bacon pieces. Nuff said.

There were two birthday parties while we were there so bring a group and have a good time and a great dinner.

My wife and I came here for lunch when we were passing through and everything we had was really good and the service was great. I also like that they have a nice patio for outdoor seating. If you've ever been to a California Dreaming restaurant this is very similar since they're owned by the same company. A lot of the menu items are even the same.

I ordered the Buffalo Tender Sandwich with fries ($8.49) and it was really good. It wasn't really that spicy but it had a great flavor. The fries are the thick cut style just like California Dreaming and they're some of my favorite fries.

My wife got the baked potato soup ($4.99) which she really likes at California Dreaming and it was pretty much exactly the same.

Overall I think this is a great restaurant considering the price and the quality. We would definitely go back again if we're ever in the area.

My waiter Ashley was very nice. Always checkin on us and makin sure we had everything we needed! As well as making sure it was good; it was AMAZING!

Wow the steak was yummy with the aujue it was off the charts

Local restaurant with great food, drinks and excellent bar staff. Hubby and I are regulars there and never have a bad meal or drink. If you're in the area, this is the place to come and relax with a cocktail, beer and meal.

We decided to stop into J Peters on the way home today. Kyleah was our server and she did an exceptional job making sure we were good and had full drinks at all times. We had the potato skins as a starter. We opted for the grilled chicken sandwich and prime rib sandwich. Both were very good. Nice work to all!

Yummy! We went to eat while visiting Lake Hartwell. What a nice place! We loved our waitress. She was kind and personable. We loved our food that we ordered. The kids burger was cut in half and just the right portion and it came first. Way to go! We loved the prime rib sandwich and Alfredo pasta. We will come again! Order the appetizer croissant! You'll thank me later.

Very nice place for lunch! Servers were extraordinary for checking out items on the menu. Easy to do gluten free here for sure. My friend had the prime rib which was very good. So tender! I had the chicken entree which melted in my mouth. Early bird special pricing let’s you eat hearty for lunch or take it home for dinner. Cannot wait to return.

Traveling home we wanted a lunch that was not fast food we where not disapointed with our choice in stopping here. The food is terrific and they are large portions at a fair price. The staff is pleasant and helpful even offering drinks to go for our trip. This will be a place we make stops at when we travel through the area.

Wide variety of good meals to choose from, and more importantly meat options.

The salmon was nicely grilled and priced fairly considering it is a salmon fillet, and with a salad and croissant to enjoy beforehand, you have yourself a quite filling entree.

On top of that the service was great. My server was patient with me while I browsed through the never ending story that is the menu (not complaining) and checked in with me plenty.

I'd say that I will be returning here for there are several things that caught my eye that I would like to try.
