I could have sworn I already left this review, but here it is again. I work here, so I may be a little bias but I honestly have only ever heard good things from those to come to our services. First Presbyterian is so incredibly involved with the community and the people who come. Since the moment I walked in the door, I felt like I belonged. If you have kids and your thinking "I'd love to go to Church but my kids don't seem included in most of the churches I've been to" look no further. For the 10:15 service, we have children's time during service and then kids 3 years old - 1st grade go to Wee Worship where they are told a story from the Bible and get to interact with other kids. Or if you have a little one, bring them along, we provide childcare for the 8:00am service, Faith Time (Sunday school) at 9am, and the 10:15am service. We have childcare for almost every single event that takes place here. And it's not a small Nursery with 1 toy. We converted a meeting room, 2 summers ago, into our Nursery and kids love it here.

Overall, we would love for you to stop by with or without your kids and get to know us and other people who share a love for God.

I started attending before joining for about a year or more. First my daughter was married there then I started eventually going to services to see my Grandchildren sing in the children's choir and then on Christmas for that service. I started going to the ladies knitting group on some Wednesdays when I could with my daughter and then by myself. My husband and I started going to church there on Sundays occasionally and then my second daughter joined and was married by Pastor Huxtable. Around the time of her first child's baptism we joined the church and recently our son and his wife joined First Presbyterian. Their first child was born this summer and was baptized with only a few of us being able to attend. All in all my husband and I are finally at peace with a new church and a wonderful community of people.

I love how welcoming and friendly everyone here is. My kids and I enjoy being apart of positive things and this place of brotherly love and worship is definitely where it's at! My children and I plan to attend on a regular basis because it's an amazing place to make anyone's church home. I encourage any and everyone to visit if haven't already!

Silence is complicity. Many many good people in this congregation, but too many lack the courage of their convictions. Leadership needs to show Christian example of how to treat other people.

Changed their ways and don't preach what the Bible states
