Beth's Twin Bluffs Cafe

First time here and a great find.

Hidden gem of Nelson and the immediate area! Quaint little cafe with fabulous home cooked meals and fresh homemade pies.

Got seated right away for lunch. Service was outstanding. Food was delicious.

Wife had the BBQ chicken sandwich, daughter had the kids grilled cheese and french fries, and I had the fried chicken.

Chicken was battered with a light batter (homemade I believe) and the fries were also coated with something.

Everything was great and we will definitely be back on future drives.

Good home cooking, decent portions, attentive wait staff, and very clean. We were just paying through but world be back of in the area. The rhubarb custard was delicious, I recommend it!

We arrived at an odd time and found many open tables with many servers available.
The food was good. The quantity was good.
Just be aware that they take cash or check. They do have an ATM in the restaurant, but I don't know if there is a fee to get cash.

I have noticed many businesses either refusing cards, charging a fee for cards, or giving a discount for checks/cash.

Wonderful little restaurant with home made cooling. The pies are to die for!! Everything we ordered was spot on. The mashed potatoes were home made, the seasoned fries crispy on the outside and soft on inside with the perfect amount of seasoning. The roast beef was just like the home made beef you would get a Sunday dinner.

Wheelchair accessible entrance and the bathroom. Very neat family restaurant. Bathroom is clean. Waitresses are extremely friendly and helpful with making a choice. Food was delicious! We ordered Atlantic cod, Western burger, onion rings, strawberry rhubarb pie and dutch apple. Soup of the day was - chicken noodle.

We enjoyed having our lunch here. Took home bunch of left overs. Thank you!

Gem in the rough!! Large menu-amazing seafood!! Prices for dinners comparable to most restaurants sandwiches.. definitely will come again!! Service was fast friendly and knowledgeable, what a rarity these days

Cute roadside diner along highway 35. The onion rings are the best I’ve ever eaten. The light tempura batter is wonderful. Sandwiches and cod plate were all super tasty. We were too full for dessert.

Delicious food. Friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Fish and chips with cole slaw was excellent. Good coffee too. All around wonderful experience.

Our food was amazing and our waitress was the sweetest. I highly recommend the crispy chicken sandwich and onion rings.

Great down to earth friendly group. Food was normal, not slop, and not fine dining . Normal burger fries etc. Got plenty too.

The food is delicious and they are very efficient and friendly. Our waitress was A+++ with nearly instantaneous refills and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything was great and we can't wait to come back.

Homemade food and very good. Great service.

The breakfast was delicious!! Sausage and mushrooms and cheese omelette with sourdough toast and hashbrowns My wife had pancakes and eggs and rye toast hashbrowns and sausage all was delicious 😋

The food was good and 3 things surprised me, the bacon that came with what I ordered wasn't the thin skinny bacon you get at a vast majority of the restaurant you can go get breakfast at, it was thicker and wider, another surprise was this place doesn't accept credit or check cards in the restaurant itself (they do have an ATM in the restaurant), just cash or checks, if you want to pay with a credit or check card, you have to go to the gift shop next door and I'm not from Wisconsin at all, I live about two hours from where the restaurant is located and they still accept the check that I ended up paying my tab with. I would stop there again if I'm ever in the same area again

Great little cafe. Was very busy on a Sunday morning but the service was great. Food was awesome and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

On our way up to the Durand area for a Natural Resources Foundation trip we stopped here for dinner Friday evening it was past what is probably a very busy dinner rush for this great little Cafe so we got a table by a window and got to enjoy a show with our food of many different birds including Orioles and a Hummingbird coming to there feeder outside. Our waitress came over quickly got our water and a Pepsi for me and took our orders. My companion got the plate version of the fried cod and French fries with coleslaw I got the entree version which is 1 or 2 dollars more but you get choice of potato and soup and a warm roll with butter I chose a baked potato and coleslaw and I ordered a piece of cherry pie as I overheard our waitress telling another diner that they were out of the pie they wanted so i asked and got that done before there wasnt any cherry. Our orders came in a very short time and everything was excellent if the fish isn't hand battered than they have a great supplier everything was great including the service and my piece of cherry pie was very tasty. I didn't take any pics but you can look at any already listed for the Cafe and they will show you what we enjoyed. If you are taking a road trip on The Great River Road make a stop at Beth's Twin Bluffs Cafe in Nelson,WI you won't be disappointed.

Charming restaurant with exceptionally nice staff and delicious food. We had dinner one evening & returned for breakfast the next day because it was so good. Love the gift shop next door, too.

We've been there twice, and each time was excellent, wonderful service, and very wonderful food, always busy,but open spaces for seating, there's an outdoor service and dining area during the summer and fall..
