Macarena's Mexican Food

Had really wanted to try the fajitas but arrived too close to open so they weren’t ready yet. Had the first tacos, they were so yummy but my 16-yr-old had wished it was a larger serving. I thought it was a perfect meal size.
Today was our second visit on our way home from church on Sunday morning.

Absolutely love this place. Fantastic food and service. Was our first time and will definitely going back. Recommended to our family

Came here to try the Birria pizza, and it didn't disappoint!
My wife and I loved this take on Birria, and it was more than enough good for two people. We just got the medium. A large size would easily feed a family (I think).
I also got some street tacos, which were okay.
Overall, I highly recommend coming here for this tasty treat.

Hello I was there Thursday having a real bad day couldn’t quit crying I was trying to hide but this young beautiful girl left me a note in our food we had take out. Anyways I wanted to thank you you are very sweet and this world needs more people like you. Love the restaurant and great food. ❤❤

Today was the second time we’ve eaten at Macarenas! Today we ordered food for 14 people and the order was PERFECT! Everyone loved their meals and even the kids are asking when we can go back. My husband is from Southern California and grew up in a Hispanic family, and he said this might be the most authentic food we have in this area! The employees are so helpful and went the extra mile to make sure our huge order was correct. You will not be disappointed!

It is very good! I got the #7. The place felt clean and wasn't hard to find.

The food here is great! It’s a small little store with some dining tables on the other side if you choose to eat there. When they have the Birria Tacos available get them!!!!! Only reason for the 4 stars is the cooks do NOT use gloves at all and touch the burritos etc which is kind of gross, but otherwise good food.

Edit review: I’ve been back several times since this review and the cooks now have gloves and seems to Handle food much better. Changed to 5 stars.

Food was great. We had beef burritos and they had the perfect amount of seasoning and cheese. Rice and beans were tasty as well. The dining area for eating in is small. It seems like a lot of people order to go. We had no issues sitting at a table. We will definitely come back. We hope our reviews are helpful for learning about shopping, eating and playing in the area we live in.

Came here for lunch! I got the casa Birria pizza! It was phenomenal! I had seen it on the northland eatery Facebook group and had to give it a try. Well worth it. Will definitely get it again asap.
The girls working the counter were really nice and friendly.

We have lived in Liberty for almost 4 years and had never tried this place until today. I ordered our food to-go. It was ready on time, all the food was correct, and the food was amazing! I will definitely be coming back.

Without a shadow of a doubt, this is the best Mexican food in Liberty, and kansas city as well. So delicious and authentic, combined with the wonderful staff, I've recommended this place to every single person I know. Would give this place 6 stars if I could!

Just go and get some tacos, they're delicious. Love their salsa too, I drink it out of the cup.

I’m about a year late with my review but this place was so incredibly good I still had to post it. All I can say is I LOVED this spot when I was brought here on a date. Excellent food- we had puffy tacos and pizza birria, just everything was so good. Service was great as well, everyone was wonderfully friendly! I’ll definitely be back. Excellent restaurant!

Some of the best Mexican food in downtown liberty, everytime I need a quick snack or pick me up I always go here, puffy tacos and their salsa is awesome.

Best California Burrito that I've had in Kansas City!

Living in the southwest and San Diego spoiled me when it comes to inexpensive, and delicious taqueria cuisine. I've tried lots of places across the area, but none quite did the trick. I saw photos of Macarenas food on social media and it was enough to get me to make the 30 minute drive out to Liberty.

I ordered the California Burrito with extra crispy fries and a Horchata to wash it down. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked, the pico de gallo was fresh and flavorful and added a whole nother dimension to the burrito. It wouldn't be a California Burrito without guac and fries and Macarenas has a great ratio of both in each bite.

Looking forward to exploring the menu and trying all the burritos.

As someone who absolutely loves Mexican food this place has some of the best street tacos I’ve ever had in my life. Tried one of each (pork,chicken, steak) and all were a 10/10.

Both salsas were filled with flavor and the hot one had a great kick to it.

The food was super quick to get to us and the server was very nice! I immediately recommended this place to all my family and friends!!

I'm not usually one to give a review, this one is necessary though! I ordered their KC burrito, and it's really delicious. Growing up in a town full of taquerias and taco trucks made me miss authentic Mexican food. This is really close, the meat tastes authentic. I can see why it's called a KC burrito, it's got a tex-mex taste to it. If it had beans and rice I'd consider it authentic! Regardless of my preferences this burrito is delicious. I look forward to exploring their menu more. Also, they have the good glass bottle cokes! Check this place out if you like real Mexican food. It would be awesome if they got nopales on the menu!
