Mountain Fresh Farmers Market

Great place to get fresh produce and specialty items in Oakland and the Deep Creek lake area. Only have been on Wednesday, not the Saturday. But the selection was still very good for Wednesday. Will definitely be going back on Saturday in the future. They do take credit cards and cash. They have a system for the vendors who don't take cards where you can buy tokens to use with the vendors. So don't worry about not having cash if you go!

Excellent farmers market with a great selection from several vendors. Everyone is friendly and kind! One vendor we purchased from even threw in a free tomato with our purchase! I also saw the largest zuchinni I’ve ever seen and had a nice conversation with the vendor about it. This was a pleasant activity on our visit to Deep Creek Lake!

I always love visiting this place. So many amazing vendors with local goods. I can never visit without buying something. Great way to support the community.

Absolutely loved it. Everything I got was very fresh. The corn on the cob was delicious juicy and sweet. I got free green beans to can 6 quarts of green beans. All I did was go to the center booth,showed him my snap card . I told him I was getting 20 dollars worth of food. He gave me 20 tokens plus 20 extra tokens for free. I used the token to buy the food. Updated, initial post was for another location. The farmers market was great! Before we left Baltimore we were already planning to check out the farmers market. Everyone was pleasant and willing to answer our many questions. People also stopped us to talk about the Baltimore Ravens given we were wearing Ravens apparel. Plenty of fresh veggies, some I'd never seen for example garlic scraps.

Got some excellent produce, honey, maple syrup and hand-crafted soap here when we visited

Love going to the Mountain Fresh Market. Produce is fresh and delicious. Vendors are friendly and take pride in what they have grown and are selling.

Buy local! The meat I am getting has been so much better than what's in the store and I'm not spending anymore than I would there either.

Always a treat to visit this market. People are friendly, vegetables are fresh, homemade products are always a great buy.
