Simon Pearce Factory Store/Glassblowing (Tours 10-2) in the Deep Creek Lake Area

The Simon Pearce factory store is a storefront with a free viewing area to see the glassblowers in the hot shop. And yes, it is toasty in there! I highly recommend stopping in wether you are visiting or local to the area. It is always a treat to stop in and see the glassblowers. Very talented individuals! And the ladies in the store are very helpful and accommodating. Can't wait to go back!

Very cool activity to do! Here you can tour a glass blowing warehouse and watch the glass blowers make their pieces. There is a raised walking area to view from above. The front of the store has finished handmade glass pieces you can buy.

Simon Pearce has the best customer service I've ever seen. Someone sent me a gift to the wrong address and they were very quick to fix the situation and even called again to ensure it was safely received and delivered to the correct address. Based on this alone, I will be ordering from them in the future. A wonderful experience.

The catwalk view above the production floor will captivate you as you witness molten glass transformed into works of art before your eyes. Watch artisans work their magic, then explore the gift shop for first-rate and "seconds" of hand-made glass products ranging from drinking glasses to beautiful platters. Plan on 30 to 45 minutes. Buy a glass ice cube as a memory.

This is the coolest place! My mom introduced me to Simon Pearce, so now I take her every time I visit. My mom is steadily collecting her favorites and buying gifts for friends while I pick up an intriguing item or two. Fern and Arlene are just amazing. We're treated as family. I can't recommend enough!

Had a great experience at Simon Pearce. Though we were unable to take the tour we were able to watch a video tour. The staff members in encountered were pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely be returning this fall, when I return to Deep Creek!! That bourbon decanter and glasses will be mine!!

They have very nice hand blown glassware. From bowls, glasses, stem ware, vases to ornaments, evergreen trees, candle holders, and animals. There glass pumpkin is beautiful! Worth your time to browse.

Simon Pearce makes some really amazing hand blown glass. They are pricy, but they are good. We ended up with a beautiful, thick vase and I have a feeling it will be with us for a long time.

We were looking for a lamp and lampshade to match a very old Simon Pearce lamp. We were helped by Fern, who was amazing. She dug around the back until she found what we were looking for and was able to help us find a discontinued model and lamp shade. Thanks to Fern, we will be back. Prices might seem high, but we have 3 Simon Pearce lamps that still look and work great and are 20 years old and still in style.

From the moment you walk through the door you'll be in awe. Every single glass piece there is exquisite. Being able to watch the process of how they make these beautiful glass creations is mesmerizing. It's a must see!

The shop is really nice and has many times of designed glass. enjoy watching the workers make glass. It is a true life changing experience.
