Antietam Recreation

This was my first time at this location, I went for the Christmas show as my girlfriend bought tickets. We had a blast!! All the staff was very welcoming, joyful, and very helpful. The food was great and the program and activities were top notch. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We had an excellent time at Antietam Rec for our company picnic. We have been going there for years and it's always so nice. In fact, I went there as a child for my grandmother's Double Day picnics. The one pic below is me in 1984 by the pool. We also have one of me on the ponies but I can't find it. My son is now 4 and he had a blast! He loved the zip line and it was his first time riding a horse and he didn't want to stop! He didn't want to leave either lol it's so clean and makes for a wonderful day outside in nature! I wish we could afford their day camp because I know he would love it!!

Went on a field trip with a 2nd grade class and they had a blast, just watching all the kids playing on the swings, zip lining and swimming was wonderful! They even had a dog show! Will definitely go back !

Fantastic Christmas 🎄🎁 program and meal. Professional performance and wonderful meal. Very friendly and time management was commendable! Blessings to all who make it happen. Merry Christmas like it should be for all.

Amazing Dinner Theater! Marshmallows on the fire with some Hot Chocolate. Wagon ride back in time. Dinner was great, home made and the Staff is better than the Restaurants around. The play was Great, well written and exicuted to perfection. The Singers are Good! A positive message was delivered and appreciated it. Perfect for A Family.

Great place! It is so much fun for the kids and a wide variety of activities to choose from.

Whether summer activities or winter shows, Antietam rec does a very nice job with their programming-programs that focus on the kids for us is a huge thumbs up!

Wonderful show! Something for everyone!

Best place EVER! My children have attended for 15 years now. All have learned to swim here.. our last one ,we were very anxious about the swimming piece as she was started at 4 years old. By the end of the summer she was swimming like a fish under water from one end of the pool to the other, jumping off the diving board!! Each of our children absolutely LOVE it here every single day!! The staff is always amazing, every day they come home exhausted because they have had so much fun! I love that they are Christian based AND the weekly themes really get the kids excited. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.. 10 stars if I had the option!! The theatre shows are also such a great way for our children to help their confidence and work together as a team💜 Mary,Bob , their family & and staff have been such a positive piece of our lives ! Thank you

We feel lucky to have learned about Antietam Recreation. Our six-year-old was there for summer camp this year and he positively loved it. Great experience.The staff is wonderful. The whole place feels like the kind of summer camp that I just didn’t realize still existed. We will sign up again next year.

TL/DR: This is the closest thing your kids can have to a 1980s/1990s Summer. Lots of outdoor activities, lots of self-directed fun. If they had an adult week I would go.

There is so much to love about this place. The activites are fun and most things are outdoors. There are activities for every interest - baking, horseback riding, kayaking, "forting", field sports, whatever - so everyone can find something they love. The pool is great fun too. The staff is amazing. They really get to know each camper. I can't say enough good things about Mary Rotz - she is incredible.

My sons have been attending Antietam Rec for Summer camp for 6 years now. My oldest loved it so much that he is now a volunteer there! They have made so many friends and memories here and have also gained skills and confidence which will last a lifetime.

What a wonderful dinner and show! Everything was well organized. It was nice being served dinner in our seats. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The event is well worth the time and money. Will definitely attend the next show in the spring.

I cannot say enough GOOD things about their entertainment. They put on such an amazing show and their dinner will leave you stuffed. Everyone is so personable and talented. Our girls (6 & 8) were loving everything. Their Christmas show is a must for your holiday spirit!

We LOVED the Christmas Experience show! It is the highlight of our Christmas each year. The dinner was very good with plenty of food. The show itself is top notch. The singers have great voices, the dancing is very well choreographed, and there is always a heart warming message that makes you even more excited about Christmas. We also enjoyed the petting zoo, horse ride, and the hay ride with heated seats. The show is a must see for everyone!

My family & I had so much fun at my employers family picnic. We talked about it for days after. You could never get bored there, and the facility was clean. The staff was awesome!

It was awesome.. the singing the dancing the comedy. We went last year and didn’t think they could top that performance but they did.. The variety and all that talent is something to cherish. Can’t wait for the Christmas Show..

First time being there for the dinner/show experience. We had a great time and the food was terrific. The show was a Christmas theme and it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend it for a family to enjoy together

I've been to Antietam Recreation for my son's summer camp. I used to go there when I was a kid and it's an amazing experience! My son loves his counselors and the different activities they have. This year (2022) they opened Friday's for parents to view a performance and camper of the week awards which I find so wonderful! The weekly themes are great and I can tell he's having a wonderful time. The staff is amazing and patient, I couldn't ask for a better group of people!

We love this location for their high quality shows! We have seen the Christmas Experience and Century of Song.

Both shows that we saw we highly recommend. The shows are well put together, have a good family friendly message, have amazing singing, kids acts, dancing is very exciting, and will make you laugh.

Very kid friendly. Both times we brought our three kids and they LOVED it. They can't wait to come back.

The food they serve is outstanding. Both meals we had was very filling, great quality, and tasted fantastic. The actors are also your waiters and they all do an outstanding job, are super friendly, and very helpful.

During the Christmas Experience show get there early when the gates open! Tons of activities! There is a camp fire to roast marshmallows, a hay ride with a mini-play, a petting zoo, they serve hot chocolate and hot cider, horse rides, and a manager scene with live animals.

The price is well worth this experience. You will not be disappointed.
