Great breakfast and lunch spot. Service id friendly, food arrives quickly. Traditional southern atmosphere.

We decided to try some place we hadn’t been before so we chose port city. Walked in at 7 and there was a couple leaving and one table still eating dinner. Looked at the little stand with the specials on it and sat down. Our server,
Lexi, came over and got our drinks. Came back and got our order, unfortunately they were out of the pot roast. My husband wanted the fries with the pot roast on them but settled for the bacon cheese fries. I ordered the hamburger steak plate. You can watch the guy, sorry I can’t remember your name, cooking your dinner. Being in the restaurant industry you watch the little things and I was very happy to note that he was doing awesome. Another couple came in and he suggested the hamburger steak on a burger, he had joked around a bit before so I thought I’d ask him why he didn’t suggest that to me. lol. He said he will could and I told him no, it was too late. I had already finished my dinner. He made us one to go. Thank you for that. It’s of course delicious, could use some gravy on it. Now that would have topped it off. Great service and great cook. Your grandmother taught you well! Since he’s there every night I expect to see him next time we stop in! Thank you again!

Great diner style food, with daily specials that include your beverage and dessert for around $12. The roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy and Lima beans were very good. My husband’s shrimp Po Boy with gumbo was good as well!

As a local, I’m shocked I’d never visited this restaurant before! We immediately felt at home upon entering. The atmosphere is cozy and styled nicely, without being over the top. Feels like a home style diner should. Prices and portions were great, and the cuisine itself was even better! Exactly the experience I hoped for, from the environment to the food. It was our young servers first day, and still everything was nearly perfect! Highly recommend, and definitely planning to return.

Pot roast, mashed potatoes the best. Hubby had Po Boy. Large place with plenty of space, no wait on a Tuesday evening. Food delicious, server very friendly and the Cook too. Reasonably priced, two of us $30 plus tip. Plenty for leftovers!!

You have to come here for home cooking! Living my entire life on the MS Gulf Coast and not being here at Port City Cafe until now ... I've missed out Big Time. Not anymore ... We'll be back! The atmosphere is relaxed, the service was on point and friendly, the Pot Roast had great taste and moist both on the Rebel Poboy and the Blue Plate and the tea was perfect! Gonna try breakfast bc pot roast is available then too! We love this place! Reminds me of my mama's cooking, which I could never copy.

The first time my husband and I went was for lunch. Our second time was for breakfast. Each time has been a friendly, pleasant, and enjoyable experience. The food portion is never disappointing. The prices are reasonable and worth every bit. This is definitely southern cooking for the soul.

Needed a place for breakfast and read the reviews. From there, we decided to give it a try. Very glad we did! Amanda, our server, was fantastic, and the home-cooked breakfast was delicious!!!!

My husband ordered the Sunday special- shrimp & grits & catfish. The portion size was great, and my biscuits with sausage gravy hit the spot.

Definitely will stop by again when we are back in this area!!!

Fantastic restaurant with awesome food and great service. Everything we have ever ordered has been great and served with a smile. The owner walks the floor making sure all is well and makes everyone feel welcome.

It’s like you stepped back in time. You walk into the cafe and you feel like you have stepped into 1940. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I would recommend this place for a nice breakfast and chat. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Great Cafe atmosphere. If you are wanting a sweet treat grab an order of the beignets. They are delicious, with a light crunch on the outside, no taste of oil and a soft inside. The owner is friendly and very inviting. The amount of 'regulars' prove that this place is delicious. Could not ask for a better staff of servers, they are just as sweet and comforting as the beignets. The breakfast burrito is hearty and filling. Great early morning breakfast that will last you through a hard day of work.

We are down in Biloxi visiting and found this little restaurant.
The service was top notch! It is priced really well, and there is a lot of food for the cost.
The meat lovers omelet was packed full. Eggs cooked to perfection, and my son said his French toast was a 10 million out of 10 stars!
Jamie was our server and we just loved getting to know her.
Highly recommend PortCity Cafe if you need a great breakfast/ brunch spot!

Excellent biscuits and gravy. Husband had beignets as a breakfast appetizer. He said their breakfast burrito was the best he has had anywhere in the U.S.

We found this place our second year at cruisin the coast and now it's our regular breakfast spot..always great food and great hospitality

I highly recommend this place. Everything was amazing from the cozy atmosphere to the fresh made to order meal and the great service. I had Sydney as my server this morning and I absolutely loved her service.

Nice local watering hole. The veggie omelet was the best I've ever had, from New Orleans to Atlanta, and the beignets were good. Next time I'm back on the coast, definitely hitting this place up again.

OMG. Food was outstanding. Owner introduced himself. Wait staff did an excellent job. Will definitely return.
