This was the absolute best dental experience I've ever had. I had a wisdom tooth pulled and didn't feel the needles or the extraction. Dr. Carpenter was a true angel- sharing laughs, goodness, and his dental excellence. He and his welcoming, friendly staff shared a wealth of knowledge about the extraction process and aftercare. Every question I asked was answered beyond my expectations. If you are deciding which oral surgeon to choose in the Triad, look no further.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!!! I went two months after my wife. She bragged immensely about him. David Carpenter is SUPER awesome. Very professional and great sense of humor. Don't even realize your having a tooth pulled. He's pulled two of my teeth. Wish he didn't retire.

Had my 2 upper wisdom teeth removed yesterday and I really wanted to share this very positieve experience with everybody!!
The staff as well as dr.David made me feel very welcomed and important. Friendly and professional attitude, short waiting time and making sure that I was informed at all times what was happening!
I had a combination of pre-medication, local anesthetic and N2O ( laughing gas ), excellent application and NO PAIN during surgery whatsoever was A+. Recommendation to friends and family I would surely do, overall it was a pleasure doing business with them!

Excellent oral surgeon. Both children had wisdom teeth taken out. Operations were performed expertly with no complications. Good instructions on follow up care to avoid pain and infection. Highly recommend Dr. Carpenter.

I would recommend him to everyone the oral surgery I had was something that was to fix something rare. He did it and I honestly did not even know he had finished until he said we are all done. Wonderful oral surgeon great personality dealing with patients and his hygienist was also a very sweet and caring person. I will go to him for any other oral surgeon needs even though I do have to drive over an hour to get there.

They did a very good job for my daughter. Their billing and payback process needs an overhaul, drug out payback process for 64 days. Insurance company says they do this all the time.

We went to see Dr. Stutts (formerly Dr. Carpenters office) to have an implant placed for my daughter. My daughter had the implant placed in March of 2016. She had a recheck in June to see when the implant could be placed. It was scheduled for July 27, 2016. They had 4 weeks to order the components they needed. I have since moved out of state. I flew in yesterday (I used to work for an area dentist and I was going to assist in this case) and then at 3 o'clock in the afternoon July 26th we received a phone call stating that the healing abutment wasn't in. They would have to cancel the appointment and reschedule her appointment for August 4, 2016. I know that the part wasn't ordered. They completely dropped the ball on this case. I called to see if it could be overnighted and they said no. They wouldn't work with my daughters schedule at all. This is an extremely poor way to do business. Now she has to go without a front tooth for three weeks while she is on vacation. Which is completely unacceptable. I WOULD NOT recommend this office to anyone who wants to be treated with any amount of respect. They have absolutely ZERO concern for their patients. Unfortunately we are at their mercy. Since we've already paid for the procedure we can't even use a different oral surgeon. I am completely in disbelief at how we were treated. I've been in the dental field for 18+ years, So I know why the components were not there. It's very sad that this is the way Dr. Stutts chooses to do business. This is the most unprofessional oral surgeons office i've ever been to. I will be telling my general dentist friends in the Greensboro and the surrounding areas not to be recommending this oral surgeon's office. There are many more that are much more accommodating.

Dr. Stutts office, previously Dr. Carpenter, was a huge disappointment. I went to him in March 2016 for an implant placement. I am missing #10 (lateral tooth, the second tooth from the front on the top left) and #11 (canine tooth, to the left of #10) came in, in #10 spot so I retained my baby canine tooth #H. I went to Dr. Stutts because I am originally from the Greensboro area and I worked as an assistant for 5 years after attending GTCC's assisting program. My now husband is in the army stationed at Fort Bragg so I now live here. I drove back to Greensboro specifically to go to Dr. Stutts. After having my implant placed in March I went back June 28th for a checkup, at that appointment I was told in 4 weeks to schedule and I could start the restoration part. My appointment was made for July 27th, on July 26th I was called and told the part was not in yet. After several phone calls I finally asked if they would overnight the part so I could still keep my appointment, I was told no. My mom flew in specifically to help assist the general dentist with this case. My husband has block leave starting on August 5th and ending on August 22nd. Because they refuse to work with me and my schedule I now have to wait until August 4th to see Dr. Stutts and almost a whole month without a front tooth. I was very let down by Dr. Stutts and his staff with their lack of trying to accommodate me. I feel as if they don't care about me at all. If I could give a review with 0 stars I would.
