Lowes Foods of Hanahan

I had never been in a Lowes food. I'm so impressed with everything. I bought a salad bar that couldn't be avoided because it looked so fresh. Then I was able to find a wine that is missing from my local store. The associates were all very helpful and friendly. I think I'm a convert and will be shopping the new Lowes we have.

Patrick, the closing manager, went above and beyond to keep the store open 5 minutes late while I raced from my home in Park Circle to pick up formula for my 3 day old daughter (she was showing signs of dehydration so it was a near emergency).

On my drive over, I frantically called the store at 10:59 PM (1 minute before close), and to my surprise, a friendly voice answered the phone and said he was happy to keep the store open for a few extra minutes. Best customer service experience I’ve had in a long time. Thank you, Patrick!

If you liked bilo, you'll love Lowes, if u didn't like bilo, you'll love Lowes. I go to the west Ashley one often, they have different deals throughout the week, half. Price growlers, deals on flights.... Im sober myself but my bud got some sort of peach lager (?) that smelled amazing.

Even more amazing u can do your shopping w said beverage in the cart! They also have a wine menu, and some people def take advantage of 1/2 price wine, had this chick fell me she comes. Every Thursday.... Thanks for that random chick.

Everything's In stock, great veggies, good soda sales, yesterday was by to get to free so it ended up being four cases of 12 for about $13, and the store is just clean, and nice to shop at. Friendly staff too!

((This review is for both the hanahan and west Ashley location, quality, stocked Shelves, Smiling employees... They may be slightly higher priced but it's worth it.))

Ps,. Check the plants I got!!! Rare-ish pepperomia and all. Dracenea from the west Ashley store. Great place to pick up charcuterie stuff too! The three meats came in a pack the cheese was buy one get one and the box of crackers had four varieties! Bam, done. already had strawberries in the fridge :-)

I have a deep appreciation for Lowe's food. Beyond its cleanliness and affordable prices, there's an undeniable sense of joy and contentment when you step inside. When it comes to exceptional customer service, this grocery store truly stands out. The staff members are all incredibly friendly and helpful, with Shakera leading the way as a true superstar. Her remarkable qualities truly reflect the best of human interactions. I can't recall a single instance where her assistance didn't leave me in an elevated mood for the entire day. My heartfelt thanks for consistently being such a delightful team to interact with.

Such a nice place to be at! The vibe is amazing. There are never any problems and the staff is more than helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here to get your groceries. Never too busy, but there are always people here. Love it!

This is the nicest store in the area. The selection is amazing and one of the cleanest stores I have ever shopped in. The employees are so friendly and helpful. Great deals with your Lowes card as well. I wouldn't shop anywhere else.

I just got here the other week and they do have dry aged steak. They're the mini version of the Lowe's in Summerville. Everything is included but the size of the store and they're hiring paid weekly.

No other grocery store compares.. military discounts on Monday’s, they accept WIC, little fruit for kids that’s free while you shop (I’ve never seen this done anywhere before and it’s SO appreciated.) All fresh, baked goods, sausage, smoke house, deli, sushi, beer on tap, and a coffee shop. Their produce section is always great, and fruit is fresh cut. The store is always clean and stocked, there’s always actual register lines open, and the list goes on. I didn’t know I could love a grocery store, great place 👍

Quentin and the meat department is very helpful I was looking for sesame oil and he stopped what he was doing and helped me locate exactly what I needed. Can't thank him enough.

Super-friendly staff! This place is clean and organized, even the shopping carts are well cared for.

Sincerely enjoy every interaction I have with the guys who work the meat/seafood counter. They are some of the nicest people and one of the most pleasant experiences I have every time I visit.

I LOVE this store here in Hanahan. They may be a bit more than others but it is ok. The experience of grocery shopping is loathsome to me but NOT at this store. Starting with clean carts Fantastic deli and hot foods, rotisserie chicken and red potatoes with kale etc. I would drive anywhere to get this food. The head chef there is very friendly and boy can he cook ! Sushi Wednesday , and bakery and PRODUCE is amazing. I do not mind paying extra to not have a horrid experience to save pennies. We had their Thanksgiving dinner catering for us this year and it was awesome. That turkey was amazing. Anyway the staff there will always be helpful. I have never had a bad experience here, I pray they never leave or close. It is such a great store. Give their takeaway hot food a try. I would walk on hot coals to get their veggies. on and on ! Wonderful.

This place has the absolute best produce. They also have a wonderful craft beer selection, the bakery is top notch and they do a good job with the smoked meats. The dry aged steaks look very interesting, though I have not had the opportunity to try those yet. This is definitely what you would expect from a high end grocery store. Shopping here is an experience you should definitely try.

If you live off of N Rhett this is the best grocery store for premium meats and local produce, beer,…etc. for Father’s Day we got two dry aged T-bone steaks that were amazing. Friendly staff and never overly crowded. It is an expensive grocery store with prices in line with Whole Foods and Earthfare, however unlike those two stores their premium products still have the “bad stuff” in them so feel free to stock up on sodas and chips!

In my opinion their only downside is you can’t use a store discount card you must have your own to receive their savings. Personally I prefer just having the cashier scan the “store one”… but a small personal inconvenience shouldn’t stop you from stopping by. Highly recommend
