Anchor's Away Cafe' Inc.

Food was amazing. So was the service! We ate there today, on a Sunday, it was beyond busy, to say the least. I’m not sure our servers name, but my son and I were taken well care of. She was a younger server. Food was great. Happy about all, as usual.

This was our first time coming to Anchor's Away Cafe and it didn't disappoint. The fried oysters were large and cooked perfectly. We will definitely go back again and again.

We’ve eaten there once and everyone thoroughly enjoyed there meal. I had fried shrimp and they were excellent. We will be back!

Anchors Away is really good! Calabash style seafood that always tastes fresh. Never greasy. Highly recommended

Food was really hot and fresh. I ordered the large seafood platter and it was excellent. My wife ordered the jumbo shrimp (6) and she had problems finishing it up. We ended up taking half mine and 3 of hers home. Hush puppies were definitely good.

Decent food . Great selection of fish and the usual chicken tenders. Good priced. Everything was good. Service was slower than typical. Pretty plain inside.

Dropped in for lunch while riding motorcycle. Great deal, and the food was excellent. Will definitely be back, Lord willing.

We just ate here for the first time. It is phenomenal. The one girl waiting tables(Jennifer) was taking care of the entire restaurant, and doing well. The cook (D.J) is a seafood magician. Everything on my plate was great. Beyond impressed. 2 people did this. Crazy! This is our new go to for seafood. Check it out.

Really good food! I've had the flounder, catfish, gumbo soup, and burger. All good! Friendly staff, clean, a nice family-owned restaurant.

Cozy little place, our server was a genuinely nice lady.
The flounder was delicious and moist.
Very good sweet tea.

I will be returning.

My family are here for lunch. Everybody enjoyed their meal. Some got the Caribbean salad and loved it. Two people ate flounder and said it was good, and I my cheeseburger was good. The portion sizes were good and reasonably priced. We'll be back.

Nice place, the staff were friendly, the food was good and a lot of it, and the price was right. I'll definitely come back to check out the rest of the menu but the fish bites were excellent for lunch.
Just an update on my return visit, had to give them the 5th star food was still great, I highly recommend the fish bites, and the service was amazing

We both had the fish bite special all you can eat for$10.00. it was wonderful, so much food! Extremely friendly staff. If you like fish, this is the place to go!!!!!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of Ancors away. The wait staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is delish! I had the fishbites ( all you can eat special ) and didn't have to wait very long to be served! I highly recommend! You won't be disappointed! The restaurant was neat and clean, including the restroom!

Had dinner here tonight and it was so good! Popcorn shrimp, deviled crab, and oysters were all very fresh and tasty. Husband had white fish and he said it was delicious. Would highly recommend

We ate there today, for the first time, we arrived around 3:30, we went in and there was no one eating that early. We sat down and within 10 min after ordering our food was on the table. What a great surprise, food was piping hot and I think the best seafood I have eaten in a long time. Will definitely be back, our waitress was abby( not sure if the spelling) staff was awesome.
