Pelican's Snoballs of Spruce Pine

Stopped in here for a quick treat while driving down the blue ridge parkway. This place great! The employees were very friendly and helpful. I was very happy they had ice cream as a choice as it wasn’t on the sign outside ( multiple flavors)
We enjoyed a waffle cone of brownie ice cream and a creamsicle SnowBall. Both were delicious. Such a cute little place with outdoor seating and a couple of table games. Definitely stop here if you are in the area.

Very clean, and very friendly staff. I loved the custom choices the shop offered. I hadnt seen those flavor combinations/toppings at other locations. Pictured is the pineapple upside down cake. It's the 3rd pelicans I've been to, and it's been the best so far!

I went once and am now a regular that has also turned my mom into a regular lol the shaved ice has the best texture and they have 100 or more flavors to choose from. I love wedding cake and cotton candy with sno cream. Also they have little doggie treats you can purchase for your fur friend with pb flavor ice and a dog treat on top!

I was skeptical about this place, pass by it all the time so figured I would give it a shot finally. I wasn't expecting much from flavored shaved ice but it was delicious both times I've went and has a huge selection of flavors and combinations so there's something for everyone, even has small selection of ice cream if you don't want a "snowcone." This place really surprised me, if you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend you do so. A perfect treat especially on a hot day 😋 I got the Gone Fishing first time and Sour tsunami the second with cream added, both were very yummy!

Best Pelicans I've been too. Extremely clean and service was great. The stuffed cones were amazing. The outside front dining had plenty of gathering activities for family and kids. Plenty of parking.

We love pelicans but the last two times online it says open and you guys are closed. Have the winter hours started and it just hasn’t been updated? If so please update

Just like the Shave Ice I got in Hawaii! It's the perfect type of ice for a snow cone. I like how they filled the cup to the rim, flavored the ice, then built the snow ball on the top and flavored it. Much better than building the whole thing and then dumping on the flavor.

Lots of flavor choices. The staff was friendly and I felt the price was reasonable.

I've been to this Pelican's several times now and every experience has been great. The staff is friendly, the portions are large, and the prices are good. I also love the fact that they cater to our furry friends. They offer a "pup cup" that my dogs get enjoy on the porch with us (they also have a water bowl with fresh water out there for them) Highly recommend!!

Two days in a row of mass orders and not one mistake! They rock as well as taste great!

love flavories but always give me wrong size I order medbi get small in order large I get small an still pay the price if large every time I have to tell them

Nice place to take the family. Friendly atmosphere and the employees have been very nice. The only complaint I have was I ordered a sour tsunami and they forgot the sour but it was still a great experience. We'll continue to keep coming to see them for our weekend treats.

We loved Pelican's Snoballs! The ice was soft, and they had all gluten free and high fructose corn syrup free syrups. They had a few flavor options that were free from food dyes too, which was great! Nice place, we'll be back!

Fast. Friendly. Delicious. The amount of flavors to choose from is insane. Every flavor I've tried has been great as well. My only quarrel with it is that it is slam packed a lot of the time, but that's not their fault and honestly is telling of how great it is!

It was great, the best I've ever seen, service, prices ,staff were all amazing.

Kids love this place always friendly service and fun hangout place during Spring/Summer months. Lots of Variety in flavors here .
