John R Bettis Boat Landing Park

This landing has a good amount of parking. It is not usually crowded. The ramp is paved. It stays in pretty good condition. The wooden dock is in need of repair. Some boards are missing from the end. It has covered picnic tables. It doesn't haven a restroom or even portable restroom. The landing is behind the ball fields of the Hanahan rec center. During baseball and soccer seasons the lot will be full.

Beautiful views. Has a good size dock, baseball fields, Amphitheatre, and trails.

This place is beautiful for the camera, it is shared with the community baseball leagues, separated by a parking area, I boondock and the peace was tranquil, check this out

I had a real good time with my best friend sitting at the table and talking about relaxing things. A great place to prepare your body for some mindfulness.

Beautiful scenery. Lots of birds and gators.

Walking trails are well maintained with ample parking for boat landing and the amphitheatre. Much of the original old growth forest still remains, so you get nice forest as well as water views. Trail is easy grade so small children and strollers will have. no problem. Areas provided for picnics and play.

Nice shady place. There's picnic tables and a restroom. Of course a boat landing and ample parking. A little trail also. Peaceful!

I biked over there and It took me about 15 minutes to bike. Also, there is a trail that is 0.2 miles long. It is designed by the North Charleston Parks and Recreation Center. I recommend taking your kids there! Please note: there are alligators in the Reservoir. This is where our tap water comes from!

Just stopped by to check it out. Nice little landing. Plenty of parking. Landing with dock. Has new walk way over the water and a small covered picnic area. Very nice quite area.

Wonderful place to take your fur babies for a walk there is always a great deal to do there and to see him for them to smell. The amphitheater is gorgeous just wish it was in use more.

Nice place, clean. Cops look at you funny and insist to search your car if you sit in it to eat your lunch. Sit outside the car, according to the cops so you don't look suspicious.

Great place nice views and good fishing

It's great and getting better ! I Hear they're building a fishing pier in future ,The dock there now is more for Boat launch, but people consently like to fish from Dock ! Plenty of Bank .

Nice little ramp. Double ramps, though one is at a very shallow angle. Good parking. Some of the approach lane should be wider.

Very nice area. I'll be spending a lot of time here. I've been here for several hours today. I can't leave for some reason. It's just so nice out here.

Good little get away. Easy in and out with the boat. Good ramp and dock, good fishing pretty safe parking lot. Good police presence.

Great park! Clean and well kept. Wish it had bathrooms. The boat launch looked ok.

First time there, beautiful place. Big fish and lots of turtles. We had lots of fun.

A quiet soothing place, to just drink a cup of coffee and watch fishermen launching there boats.
Also have a queit lunch and go for a stroll while looking at the water.
