Sherry's Family Restaurant

My friend and I stopped for breakfast one chilly morning to find this family friendly restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service, clean restroom. I would highly recommend this establishment.

We ate at Sherry’s Family Restaurant in Star,NC. It was obvious this is a favorite eating place in the community. Our visit was made very special by Cindy, our waitress. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and like a member of the community. She was very friendly and efficient. Our food was delicious. I ordered a vegetable omelette and my two friends ordered hamburgers. They ordered the Big D and it was big!!! Lol Our food came out in a timely manner,was hot, and made to our specifications! I would recommend you try Sherry’s Family Restaurant if you are ever in Star, NC!!😃

Big delicious omelet! Great atmosphere where you’re an old friend that just walked in. Bring cash, though. No plastic accepted currently.

Passing though on our way to the beach and we didn't want to stop at a chain restaurant. Sherry's Family Restaurant was a great choice! Wonderful staff and service. Even the customers were incredibly pleasant and nice. Very welcoming to us and our two small children. And the food, it was great! Fresh flounder and never frozen burger! Perfect example of Southern hospitality.

Back in town after a few years. Now close at 2 PM. In for breakfast on a Saturday. Ordered: Ham and Cheese Omelet, Home Fries covered with Sausage Gravy, Biscuits and Coffee. All was very good. As usual price and service very good.
Will be back for sure.

Another great place I eat at always get takeout and it's always excellent. Food is great. A big portion of food for the money

Such a cute little family owned restaurant! Homemade food at a GREAT price! A rare find these days! Don't miss the chance to stop and try this food! Hands down the BEST grits I've ever had!!!!

When we go to new areas, we like to try out the locally owned restaurants. This one was tops!

I came from North Georgia for the Firefest this weekend and my mom and I decided to eat at Sherry’s. How awesome it was! Prices were way better than waffle houses, and the food was as well. Our waitress was very sweet and was also hustling her butt off! Was a Great experience and I wish we had Restaurants like this where I’m from.

Was VERY good and surprisingly inexpensive. We were on our way to Myrtle Beach and was pleasantly surprised by this little hole in the wall dinner. Everything was made from scratch. They serve breakfast all day and my husband I enjoyed the omelets. A friend of ours got the big burger and the onion rings that came with it were AMAZING! The waitresses were extremely friendly and made you feel so welcome and appreciated.

Great place for breakfast!! Centrally located for a group of 5 from throughout NC to meet monthly and waitress remembers us. NEVER leave hungry!!

We had breakfast here last week. We're local so we've been here several times. Always fast friendly service with large servings. Good prices. Worth your time to stop in and join the locals for good eating.

When traveling, we enjoy trying local restaurants instead of the national chains. Sherry's did not disappoint us,we had a wonderful meal, met some local folks, and just had a great experience. And to add frosting, the prices are exceptional!

This was our second visit here. The first visit I took my aunt and her friend, both who had been misplaced from their nursing home by the flood from Matthew in Lumberton. The food was freshly cooked and came to the table hot and steamy. It was delicious. Sherry introduced herself as well as her daughter. Everyone was very friendly. Our meal was paid for as well
The second visit was just as good. The food was hot and tasty and atmosphere friendly. Sherry's is a great hometown cafe.

This place is soooooo good and so friendly! The chicken livers, greens, hush puppies, tomato/cucumber salad, apple pie, home fries, omelette, and coffee- all delicious! And served by the nicest staff! Customers are all very friendly, too. This is truly a family style restaurant.

My husband and I were traveling through the area on our way to Myrtle Beach. We stopped at Sherry's Restaurant and were welcomed by wonderful and kind ladies. Our meals were delicious! We had a huge plate of grilled shrimp, fresh homemade coleslaw, baked potatoes, and fresh hot hush puppies. We arrived near closing time, but felt welcome to dine leisurely. We knew they meant it, but we also knew that a long day is a long day, and everyone needs rest. I hope you stop by and enjoy a great dining experience at Sherry's Restaurant!

Family owned, southern cooking. Food is always good.

Great and real roadside restaurant. Foods good, wait staff and all great! and the patrons too. If you want real Southern it is will worth the short loop off 220/ I-73. No pretense here or fake accents.
