Nashville Family Dentist (Dr. Radu Pop)

Was very pleased with my initial cleaning/evaluation. Everyone was very friendly. Cleaning was done in a timely and professional manner; was relayed information on status of teeth throughout the entire process. Checkout after visit was efficient.

Dr. Pop and his staff make going to the dentist a lot easier and enjoyable! I’ve always been scared of going to the dentist but not anymore!! Quality work, pain free, friendly and amazing staff! Thank you all!

Dr Pop is the absolute best. I recently had to have a tooth pulled and I have always had a fear of the dentist. He went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable and he took his time to make sure that I was taken care of correctly the first time. He has an excellent staff. They are very knowledgeable and personable. You can tell that they care about what they are doing and you. I would 100% recommend to anyone. Let Dr Pop help you like he helped me.

Dr. Pop has been my dentist for 16 years now and I adore him and his staff. I have been with him since the beginning of his private practice and I am still waiting for my picture on his wall. Ha!
He is very caring about his patients and always checks to make sure you are doing okay during any procedure. His staff is very personable and always makes me feel welcomed at every visit. You can’t go wrong with Dr. Pop!

My whole family goes to Dr Pop! He is a gem as well as all the girls! As soon as you walk into the office, the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. We have never waited long. The staff is professional yet they are my friends as well.
I know some people are scared to go to a dentist for whatever reason. I feel they can make you feel comfortable and they go out of their way to personalize each patient. My Son has Aspergers and they are great with him and any issue that may arise.
My husband has work done and they relax him because he tends to get nervous.
Dr Pop is very much a perfectionist! I promise you! I had gone to Castle Dental for years and he has had to fix and replace all the fillings and other issues. Even for my husband. Beware of the large Dental chains. If you need a good, family friendly, professional and happy staff and great dental work, this is the office!

Dr. Pop and his staff are the BEST! Not only are they super friendly and helpful, but they're also very timely. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes, which is quite rare for any doctor office. Absolutely recommend!

I have been to many different dentists, and finding a good one became especially important to me after an extremely bad experience at my last dentist’s office. However, when I walked into Dr. Radu Pop’s office, I instantly knew this was the place for me. Everyone at the office is very kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable! My dental hygienist taught me so much during my initial cleaning that I never knew about taking care of my teeth (and I’m a nurse!). Dr. Pop also is an extremely skilled dentist who takes pride in providing quality care to his patients. He told me “never let me drill into your teeth without telling you why,” and he has since done a wonderful job of educating me throughout every intervention. He’s clearly passionate about keeping patients teeth healthy using quality, long lasting materials; in contrast to other dentists who use cheap, fast methods to give patients a “quick fix” that will erode in a couple years. I highly recommend this practice to everyone. Come into his office and see for yourself- he is happy to explain everything!

I recommend Dr. Pop for his superlative mastery of his craft. I have been going to Dr. Pop for years for all of my dental work. I am always treated with the utmost respect and great care. The office environment is welcoming and his staff members are always helpful. Dr. Pop takes time to explain what’s going on and is just an all around awesome guy. I enjoy Dr. Pop's services. His entire team are always pleasant and good at what they do! Dr. Pop has a great ability to connect with his patients...especially kids. My kids actually enjoy getting their teeth cleaned! He explains exactly what he's doing when it's time for your procedure and that helps ease my mind. He's thorough and detailed. To me, he's the best dentist in Nashville!!

Found my forever-dentist here. Dr Pop is so personal, professional, and quite hilarious as well. Uses all up-to-date equipment, and I swear the shot he gave me I didn't feel at all. Staff was extremely nice, and knowledgeable. I even got a crash course on their new x-ray technology. See you in 6 months!

Dr Pop and his staff are amazing! He does the highest quality work that lasts and it is pain free. He is my dentist for life. He goes the extra mile for his patients. His staff from the front office to checking out does the same. I wish all doctors were like Dr. Pop.

Dr Pop and his staff are amazing. My daughter has zero fear when going to the dentist. She loves it there! My husband needed extensive work and the staff there too great care of our family. We highly recommend them!

Dr. Pop and his staff are incredible. I went in for a 2nd opinion after a poor experience with another local dentist. Dr. Pop was very accommodating and welcoming as well as extremely informational in explaining some issues I was having and the proper way to correct them. I have since recommended his office to a few friends who have not been impressed with their current Dentist as a show of how confident I am in his services as well as the ladies in the office.

Amazing experience with Dr. Pop, I was being treated with another dentist at another big name dental offices in Nashville for a while and each visit I was getting a long list of treatments until I've been recommended to Dr Pop. He and his team are so amazing and he is explaining the entire procedure in a great way and cut all the unnecessary treatments. he is so knowledgeable and I recommend him to anyone who needs a Great dentist!!!

Simply put, Dr. Pop and his staff are excellent. I've been to a number of dentists in my life, but I'm not going anywhere now that I've found Dr. Pop. I highly recommend him and his staff to anyone who needs a more than capable and professional dentist.

First off, I don't normally review places, but Dr. Pop and his staff have given me the best dental work to date. I don't say this lightly, as my aunt is a dental hygenist and I went quite regularly as a kid.

When I found Dr. Radu Pop I had around 6 large cavaties and hadn't had a proper cleaning in years (don't tell my aunt). I was worried the cleaning would hurt (it did briefly) but he was able to apply a numbing gel to help with my sensitivity.

I absolutely hate fillings, mostly due to getting shot in the mouth and and it always taking forever in the chair while the filling gets done. Dr. Pop works quickly - no appointment ran over an hour and a large portion of that was waiting for the Novocaine to take affect. Of all the visits (there were several) I only once felt a bit of pain and that was due to my nerve being in a totally unexpected place. It wasn't bad (his hands are light and he stopped right away), and he quickly gave me another shot in a different location and I couldn't feel a thing afterwards. Oh, and the actual shot? He goes so slow that there's virtually no pain at all!

I also managed to incur several small chips in my front teeth over the years. He took the time to smooth them out, and my smile looks the best it ever has! After several visits, I can say without a doubt that Dr. Pop truly cares about his patients. I am so glad I found his practice. They deserve ALL of the stars!!!

have the worst teeth! Since childhood to adulthood my teeth have been worked on in an effort to save them..I have seen many Dentist over the years and hated to go because of the pain I experienced. About 12 years ago I started seeing Dr. Pop..he is Excellent! I have never felt one pain and he constantly is questioning if you are doing ok. He is genuinely concerned with you health and his work is perfect. Dr. Pop has had to rebuild many of my teeth over the years due to decay from medications.He has managed to save and rebuild my teeth and he has done outstanding work. He never suggest any procedures that are unnecessary, from Sue his Hygienist to Sonya and Melia they are only concerned in providing quality care and services! I love Dr. Pop and his staff, I have become close to them all and consider them my friends. Dr. Pop is funny and has a sweet and caring personality.and an Excellent Dentist, Sue has been his Hygienist forever and does a Great job in cleaning and checking for problems and always so cheerful, Melia Dental Assistant is so good at what she does and such a sweetheart and funny , Sonya in billing is so helpful and works with you on Insurance and payments, you will never meet a kinder, sweeter person! The entire staff has been with Dr. Pop for years and that says a lot about him and his treatment of people! I have managed, with Dr. Pop's help , to save my teeth and have pretty perfect teeth! Dr. Pop will not let you leave until you are happy with his work and he will do everything in his power to make sure you are happy and have excellent care! .
I recently got my husband to see Dr. Pop, he has been terrified of Dentist since childhood and refused to go. But he had a tooth that broke and he had no choice, I took him to see Dr Pop. My husband is now in his seventies so I was expecting to hear he was going to loose all his teeth! Sue cleaned his teeth and Dr. Pop reviewed her findings and amazingly he only had 3 teeth that needed work, Dr. Pop did the work and my husband said he could not find anything to complain about since he had no pain and the work looked great!!
If you need a Dentist and want a Great one I would not hesitate to refer you to Dr. Pop I promise you will not find a better quality Dentist or Dental office with the best staff anywhere around!!

The best dentist office I have ever been too . I have legit been to over 20 dentists and this one takes the number one spot . Best staff . Dr. Radu is the best . So clean , so professional. They will work around your schedule and help with whatever you need !

When I first went to dr. Pop I was very scared that he would look at me and tell me that I was to far gone. He made me feel like I mattered and that we all have had our issues but with his patience and encouragement he gave me my life back and now I smile so much its not even funny. My friends all tell me that he did a wonderful job and I am truly grateful for him.thank you dr. Pop for helping me feel like a man again

I've been going to Dr. Radu Pop for over 2 years and have been very happy with the staff and professional way that they work. I've had a bridge removed and a root canal and never had any problems. I had to reschedule on several occasions, and each time, they accommodated me. He and his staff is awesome!!! I recommend him to everyone I know.
