Second breakfast spot we've tried on our Nashville trip and Must say it's the favorite out of the two. Our waiter Rolley (the man bartender with the beard 😉) had excellent recommendations (you've GOT to try the fried green tomatoes and shrimp and grits). Biscuits with honey butter? Get out of town delicious! The service, food and atmosphere was phenomenal - thank you for making it such a great experience!

The shrimp and grits here were INCREDIBLE. Strong Cajun flavor that had us come back a second time before we left! Biscuits and gravy were mild with great seasoning, the chicken sandwich was ridiculously large and tasty, and the green tomatoes were so good we almost ordered another portion! The stuffed French toast is seasonal, and it had this perfect balance between sweet and savory. The avocado toast was our least favorite, but it was a cool concept that just fell flat in the end. Too much on top of a thin slice of bread.

Absolutely love this place! We go at least twice a month. The bennies are always perfectly prepared, the French toast bites are sinfully good, and the bloody Mary’s are utterly delicious! The service is terrific, even when they’re busy! Great weekday place to have breakfast meetings (especially at the bar); and awesome on weekends as well. Highest recommendation.

We have stayed near here two years in a row and have come both times and it has been delicious both times. If you like bennies, then you can’t go wrong with the “Trifecta”. My girlfriend really liked the breakfast tacos and the mimosas were delicious as well.

Yes, that picture is real, as I expected the fried chicken sandwich to be flatter, I was shocked to see the portion sizes of the actual chicken and other ingredients which reflects on the presentation very well, and with it having a taste to match, this was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had, along with the server(s) being attentive and helpful, and having a clean and worthy atmosphere, I can confidently recommend this place to those looking for good breakfast, brunch, or even lunch, as they are also a variety of food on the menu.

WOW those bread pudding pancakes were the best pancakes I have EVER had!!! Everything we had was really good and definitely going to bring any family and friends here that visit to try these pancakes! Thank you! Service was great too!

Went for my 21st birthday. Servers were so nice and fun! We had brunch and everything tasted amazing! Mimosas were strong!

Excellent! Had breakfast tacos, eggs benedict with gulf shrimp and fried green tomato and pulled pork. The flavors were beyond delicious! The place is busy for a reason.

You can’t go wrong by stopping here. I got two different Bennie’s and I devoured them. Bloody Mary was delicious!

Hands down best biscuits and gravy in Nash! When trying new places I always compare them to my own (they were best in my opinion) and now I compare them to Ruby Sunshine B&G everywhere I go! Nothing comes close!
And Raleigh is what keeps us coming back to this location! We’ve followed him from a couple of different restaurants, and have always enjoyed having him as our server/bartender! He is an absolute treasure 🤍

First time going while visiting family and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had chicken and french toast bites which were crunchy but really oily, had heartburn after but it was good 😁

Pancake Pantry was packed, so we hopped across the street and I am SO glad we did. The service was excellent, and everything we had was exceptionally delicious. Highly recommend everything we had: French Toast Bites, Fried Green Tomatoes, Avocado Toast, Breakfast Sandwich, Vanilla Spiced Latte, and the Blueberry Lavender Mimosa. Most was too delicious to wait to take pictures of.

Our server Abbigail was so sweet! We got omelets and drinks - the butter that comes with the biscuits was soooo good. The build your own omelets are clutch if you’re looking for a health conscious option. I’d like to note that I really appreciated them carrying chicken sausage since I can’t eat pork - it seems like most breakfast joints out here don’t have non-pork breakfast meat options so this was really nice. The drinks were STRONG but good. Come here if you’re looking for a filling breakfast, great menu, without the long line.

Stopped here between hospital appointments and the food did not disappoint. Honestly, we both needed a drink, but it was only 9 am. 😂 What better than a few Mimosas! Ruby Sunshine is a New Orleans themed restaurant with a great brunch menu.
We tried the Mimosas flight and all four were really good. We also ordered the seasonal beignets which had a strawberry blueberry compote and topped with a yogurt-y cream. Service was a little slow given that the restaurant wasn't too busy.
We will definitely be back!

Love this little treasure in the Hillsboro village neighborhood. We eat here every time we visit our daughter at Vanderbilt. Eggs Benedict on their homemade biscuits is AMAZING! Best part is when you can’t choose which bennie to get, you can get one of each. Potatoes, cheese grits and tots are great as well! Service has been fantastic with super friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend this breakfast/brunch place.

The white chocolate banana pudding pancakes were so unbelievably delicious if you like sweet breakfast. My very picky 2 year old daughter loved the classic pancakes as well. The mimosa flight was so fun to try different mimosa flavors and my husband loved the bacon bloody mary! The service was so great and attentive.

I visited Ruby Slipper in New Orleans and loved it, so I had to visit Ruby Sunshine in Nashville. I absolutely loved it ❤
