Sam's Sports Grill - Blue Turtle Bay

Visiting my son for his 31st birthday and this is where he wanted to go. The scenery is amazing, the drinks were awesome, our server was exceptional, and the food was hot, fresh and mouth watering! The prices are very reasonable also. I'm looking forward to my next visit and I will definitely be eating here again!

Definitely enjoyed eating on the water here. Been a few times the food and drinks can be a bit pricey but it is good. Wait can be long on certain days. The view is 🔥 and it’s a good atmosphere it’s away from downtown but work a try.

My friend & I met for lunch at Sam's. A beautiful marina view, sitting out on the patio overlooking the boats passing by. I chose the Salmon, topped with Capers & a special sauce. My friend had the Fried Shrimp. Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. Our lovely server was Layla. She was very polite, professional and just a Sweetheart. She took care of our every need. Great food, Great Atmosphere & Great Company... It just doesn't get any better......

Went here today for afternoon drinks and food. They were a little understaffed but it wasn't a long wait or chaos. Looks to be a great place to visit during better weather. Food is about the same as the Hendersonville location. Food is about $15 and bar drinks about $10. Our server Rachel was very nice and did a good job! Our little girl liked the view and the boats. Can’t say enough about this restaurant. The bar staff was fun, helpful and friendly. When we were sat at the table our server was hospitable and made the entire dining experience fantastic. Bushwhackers are a must try if you’re here. All of the food we tried was delicious and the views of the river are amazing.

This is a great place on the lake. Plenty of inside/outside seating. At least a dozen tvs, nice bar! Great food and service.

This is one of our favorite places .. this place is on the lake and can get very busy during the warm days and summer months. Theirs a bar and TV to Cater to the sports lover and lake views for everyone else. The food are mostly good with the pizza being a great choice. The portions are good size with a decent bar. We frequent here regularly for the chill vibes.

Sam's is a regular go-to for lunch, happy hour or dinner. The draw is the location on Old Hickory Lake with a view of the marina. The inside dining room, covered patio and closed patio all provide views. Service is generally good, the menu is diverse from salads to full dinners. Try a bushwacker. They have a gluten free menu.

Sam's Sport Grill - Blue Turtle Bay was another good experience. We ate dinner outside on the water. The service was quick once we were seated. I had a burger which was delicious cooked medium rare. The fries and appetizers wear good too. I'll be back I enjoyed

I love it here! Food, people, serving, and atmosphere is the best on Old Hickory Lake!!! Pizza is fantastic! Burgers are great. Wings are wonderful. Just had the wings for the first time and as you can tell by the picture they were not terrible lolol

Food was tender fresh and so tasty. You can feed ducks and fish. Excellent service, great place to go boating, fishing or enjoy the lake view. Relaxing place to eat. So much fun. You have to try the catfish.

Went here for a customer lunch and was very pleased! The menu offered a great variety of high quality food. I had the Cajun pepperoni pizza and was super happy with it - the flavors were perfect, and the cheese was properly browned. I’ll definitely go back when I’m near the area.

First timer and was impressed with everything! The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing! Getting to sit and look out at the water....gorgeous! Will most definitely be back! The fish tacos were delicious and fresh! I had a strawberry margarita and it was good too!

We love to come to this marina for the food and cold beer! The chicken tenders are the best in town, and the pizza is delicious as well! Jeanna at the bar was very attentive… As well as the rest of the staff! Bob always makes sure everyone is taken care of and runs a tight ship!
We love the restaurant, and we would love to have our boat docked there because we can never find a spot in the summertime! The prices are a little bit higher than some other surrounding marinas. But we will continue to patronize the restaurant

Service and food was great, it was little bit of wait due to many costumers on Sun but everything was organized and neat. We got spinach dip with tortilla and Santa fe chicken which both was perfect, they have happy hours 3 to 7pm Mon to Fri and you can get beers 1/2 price. I was thinking it'll be a good place at night as well. So I recommend to try this place at least once. They have a something like gazebo you can wait there during busy hours to be seated, I'll attach our food to this review

Parking was easy, the wait wasn’t too bad, and the food came out fairly quickly. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Catfish & double broccoli in substitute of the coleslaw & fries served with a loaded bloody mary w/Titos Vodka, Zing Zang mix, a shot of pickle juice, & a skewer of pickles, stuffed olives, & bacon from their kitchen.

Great service and food! The fish tacos were delicious along with the crispy sweet potato fries. Cool lake breeze, what more can you ask for?

Wonderful stop on the water with some great food too! I had the best chicken tenders here! They were battered and fried so perfectly. They were my friends meal but I couldn't stop sharing them!!
I had the trio dip. Guac was ok, salsa was ok, queso was typical. The trout dip was worth getting the trio. It had such a great flavor. Everyone at the table loved it.
I also tried a wing from another friends plate. Wow! Not only wasn't he sweet and spicy sauce delicious, but the actual wing was cooked well and very meaty.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Highly recommend.
