My daughter and I took a 2+ mile hike on a misty day and loved it. She has a membership and really gets a great value. There were birds, frogs, beautiful mosses, and colorful lichen everywhere. It was an easy walk and good well kept paths. This place is super peaceful. Plenty of parking.

Audubon Acres is a must to see and experience. It is on the Trail of Tears so it felt like sacred ground to me. The beauty is astounding and serene, but I also couldn't help but think of the weary souls who had been forced to walk along this creek. I honored their memory as I hiked through the woods. It is easily accessible and part of history. I would highly recommend a visit here. Nature and history come together. It left a lasting impression on me.

Really neat little place smack dab in the middle of the city. We joined the Chattanooga Audubon Society on our 2nd visit, Totally worth the donation! I love the plaques Identifying the trees and its Cherokee Tribe medicinal uses.

Beautiful walk/hike. Not suitable for anyone that is handicapped entering at Faith Road. It is a pretty steep grade. There is a handicap accessible entry off the main road with 1 handicap space and 3 regular spaces behind it. Across the road from this point is also a large area (whether it is legal to park there, I do not know). You will likely encounter trains bringing in cargo and rock, as you’re beside an asphalt company. We covered roughly 3 miles without doing the whole trail.

We really enjoyed the park today it was beautiful, but the best part was wadding through the water to cross back out.

Seems every time I visit Audubon Acres, it's always more beautiful than the time before and can't wait to go back. The photos are just a small example of the abundant and beautiful wildlife you'll experience on your journey at The Audubon Society

The bridge has been repaired and is open. No dogs and $6/$4 for adult/child

The grounds are just beautiful, and we loved the walking trails and the suspension bridge. There are little exhibits to see as well. The day we went there was an American Indian event going on. I highly recommend Audubon Acres if you love nature and walking trails. Very tranquil and peaceful.

Audubon Acres is Chattanooga’s Oldest Wildlife Sanctuary. Spring Frog Cabin thought to have been constructed in the mid 1700’s and is a registered site on the Trail of Tears National Historic Trail. This place is peaceful and tranquil until the train comes barreling through. Watching a train up close is always fun! Walking trails are lovely including the swinging bridge!

I've lived here for many years and this was my first visit. It is now my new favorite place to spend time in nature. The woods and the water, the trails, gathering areas are all very beautiful. What I love so much is that once on the trails it feels like I am deep in a forest even though they're less than a mile. Highly recommend this place for its beauty and accessibility. Also recommend because it is only possible by private donations and we really don't need to lose places like this.

Beautiful place to disconnect from the city life. There is a fee to enter. Park is well maintained. Definitely recommend to visit at least once.

Loved the hike. The trails were marked but not that well but it might be our impression because we don’t hike that much but it was beautiful!!

Audubon Acres is at the end of the road passing through a quiet neighborhood on the Trail of Tears. A repository of Native American history with many walking trails all marked and mapped lead you back in time. The staff is very helpful and willing to share their extensive knowledge of the location's history.

I work out here once a week as a staff member of the Forest School on the property, and I LOVE being here. It's beautiful. A surprising gem. I bring visitors out whenever anyone comes to Chattanooga to visit. I love it!

Plenty of hiking trail options with lots of wildlife all sound. We even saw a pair of red tail hawks.

Peaceful and quiet, yet very local. I was looking for a safe place to bring kids to study nature and do nature play. The fee is small but keeps the area maintained and safer. There is not a playground or lengthy hiking trails, but I didn't want that since I'm looking for involvement with nature for small children. Others have complained about intense mosquitos, but we've had no issue as of yet (late summer mid afternoon and fall morning).

Beautiful place too see. The staff were friendly and informative. A tornado damaged the bridge, but it is supposed to be open soon.
