I'm a very avid BBQ smoker in my free time and follow the culture very closely . So know when I say these are the best beef ribs I've ever had in my life and one of the top five best Briskets I've ever had in my life that is some high praise. Like immediately after having the beef and talking to the staff, I immediately wanted to go fire up my smoker. I cannot speak high enough praises about thd beef products here. Everything else here is also really well smoked as well, pork ribs were nice and tender with great bark. Pulled pork was succulent and paired really well with the barbecue sauce they provide. Overall 10/ 10 BBQ spot. This place isn't a secret though so if you're not there when they open or 30 minutes from when they open; You won't get a plate. Expect to stand in line for at least 30 minutes to an hour, but trust me it's worth it. Parking is a little pot holes gravel lot that retains water so I wouldn't be showing up in my Sunday best and being worried about getting dirty. However, you're not going to the spot to look pretty, you're going to have some of the best barbecue will ever have across the board. Prices are extremely reasonable for the cost and the sides pair well with it. Overall you see why this spot gets the hype it does. Some of the best barbecue around in Texas.

The prices are about 25-30% higher than average BBQ prices at places like Blacks, but overall it is worth checking out at least once.

Arrived fifteen minutes before they opened on Saturday for a large to-go order. I was kind of surprised to be the fourth or fifth in line, until I tasted their food. I am so blown away by the smoke flavor, the moistness and the tenderness. Now I'm convinced this is the best kept secret in Texas BBQ. This beats anything in Lockhart, Lulling or Driftwood and is now my new favorite. But don't just come for the smoked meats, because this is one of the few BBQ joints that take their sides seriously. The Mexican street corn is next level and nopal has the perfect (light) spice and pickle. To be clear, they have the best brisket I've ever tried. They have equally good beef ribs. The pork ribs looked dry but were perfectly moist and tender. The beef sausage was good, but probably the least exciting of the meal. I shared this spread with a handful of TX BBQ critics, and we were all equally impressed. We literally sat around and talked about how good this place is for thirty minutes after we finished stuffing our bellies.

Brisket, brisket, brisket!!!!

The brisket here is really delicious. It is tender and juicy. The bbq sauce is liquid ambrosia. It is the most flavorful sauce I have experienced and I just drench my brisket with it.

The mac and cheese had this really goos crumble on top and was overall very good.

They were very friendly and had an efficient system to get people in and out.

There was seating inside and outside the facility. I would say there was enough to accommodate everyone given how busy it was at the time.

Yooo!! You have to eat here. First off, they are open past 4pm!! They just haven changed it on Google. Had to go for it… got the brisket, beef rib(expensive), and Mexican corn. It rocked my socks. Even the corn was delicious. Also, don’t know if they make the pickles but those may be one of the best side of pickles I’ve had and perfect for the rich bbq. It definitely enhances the plate. Ate every bite. Worth it!

One of the better BBQ joints I have been to. We went strictly for the barbacoa, which they have on the first Sunday of every month. Absolutely delicious but the ribs and brisket are also very good. We called and pre-ordered because the last time we went they sold out before we even got there.

Personally - THE BEST BBQ EVER -

I have never had a dry brisket from 2M, no matter how deep into the centre of their brisket, it’s still flavorful and juicy throughout.

The beef sausage and pork ribs were awesome too!

Their sides aren’t the regular BBQ sides. Mexican corn and Chicharon Mac&Cheese are astonishing. Nothing is regular here! Out of this world!

Their BBQ sauce is one of a kind, more like a drizzle, tangy sweet with that fresh feel. The meat really soaks the sauce up.

Would 100% recommend to anyone craving BBQ - be it regular San Antonions of visitors from outside.

The best part, owner/pitmaster Mr Esaul Ramos was right outside grilling and chilling with his employees. He was so humble, so welcoming with any questions and just had that warm Texas smile on him.

Made the trip from Omaha TO S/A for a bucket list bbq crawl....2M was an absolute stellar food experience....best brisket out of our 3 stops...ribs were out of this world good. Thanks to Jason, the pitmaster on duty and the rest of the crew for being so welcoming and putting up with me taking lots of pictures....we will be back soon.

Excellent BBQ. Worth the drive, but GET HERE EARLY! They sell out fast and once you have it you will know why! Try their BBQ sauce, it's delicious!

Superb BBQ. Swung by here with my wife on our honeymoon. We made the error of getting there late so all they had was brisket (not that that's a bad thing). Even so, it didn't disappoint. The brisket was moist, but not overly greasy with a deep smoke flavor and a savory crust of spices. Their pickles were the best I've ever had, hands down. For those who know Houston's excellent Brisket and Rice, we have to say that 2M may be better. Next time we're in San Antonio we'll be sure to swing by, this time a little earlier. My only complaint is that they should fix the giant pothole in front of the locale.

Chopped brisket sandwiches are huge. 1/2 lb of brisket huge. BUT the sliced pork belly is where it's at. Stole the show for me. It was excellent. Mac n Cheese was great also. My wife and I had a full dinner left over. Brisket sandwich, 1/2 lb pork belly, and 1/2 lb pork ribs, two sides no drinks was 52.00 plus tip. Also heard them say it's BYOB. Pretty sweet.

Chill spot to have some great barbecue. Brisket is amazing, smoked turkey and pork ribs are great. Mexican street corn was heavenly and the chicharoni mac n cheese was good too. Will definitely be visiting again.

We drove from Alamo Ranch to this spot, totally worth the trip. One of the few places we’ve found that comes close to comparing to some of the Austin and Dallas spots. It’s priced as BBQ is these days, but trust that if you order a sandwich, it will be more than most can handle. The Mac and cheese is great and the drink option were perfect. Do yourself a favor and take the drive to 2M, we will be doing it again, soon.

Absolutely delicious!! The sauce they provide is perfect with the sandwiches as well as the pickles. The food is so filling and the flavors of the side dishes are amazing on its own!

Had the brisket and the pork ribs and they were super delicious and the meat is super tender and has a great flavor but not too much were you can actually taste the meat..best in SA for sure

Let me start off by saying that this place does not disappoint in anyway shape or form. I have heard lots and lots about it before I came so there was definitely high expectations and let me tell you that only the staff and everyone deliver but so did the food it was fantastic, the brisket was amazing but I have to say the turkey was fantastic also. So make sure you don’t skip over that part of the meal. The mac & cheese was awesome. Elotes was very very good. I’m not sure that I can say enough great stuff about 2 M smokehouse. They really do it the right way. It’s fantastic. You just Gotta go and try it for yourself. Please remember they are a till sell out restaurant. So make sure you get there early so you won’t be disappointed. Also, I forgot to mention their pork ribs are awesome. Thank you so much for a great meal and everything that we got to enjoy.

Food is amazing. I was in town and found this place, the beef rib on Saturdays are my favorite with their bbq sauce. I didn’t get the memo to bring an umbrella for shade, they do provide courtesy water. There is no shade waiting in the line and it can take an hour to be served depending where you are in line. Wear sunscreen, bring your shade and if you can’t stand for long period of time bring you a compact folding chair.

OMG, I read a local article about this being the best barbecue in San Antonio and I have to agree. What’s really nice about this place is you can get the meat in quarter pound so that way if you want to try something you don’t have to buy a half pound, or a pound of everything. Same way with the size you can get from a small container to the large container. I ordered all for the macaroni, corn, the beans, and the coleslaw, and they were all off the charts! They also individually wrapped the bread and the sides in oil so stuff doesn’t spill all over the place. Just shows how much the care about their customers. I have also never had a barbecue sauce like this. It’s almost a soy honey but man is it good.

Excellent food, we enjoyed how each item had its own herbs and seasoning though out. Some of the most moist and tender BBQ I have found. Excellent smoke and tender enough to fall apart and gnaw the bones! Items sold and weighted butcher style, no frills dining area but this only adds to the focus on the food. Will be back and make sure to come early, once they are out for the day, that's it!

AMAZING BBQ!!!

Yes I ate everything you see in the pictures. I live bbq (not just any bbq, but TEXAS BBQ.) I have not had BBQ in Texas in 7 long years. Wow just wow!

The ribs were amazing, would not have had them any other way.

Brisket sandwich. It almost tasted like there was cheese in my sandwich but there wasn’t, the fat blended with the brisket was something magnificent tasting. The smoke flavor was on point!

My only complaint if you call it a complaint, the line moved really slow. Just a suggestion and try to move that line a bit faster.
