The food is seasoned very well here. Our food came out fresh and flavorful more than what we expected. The atmosphere is great for groups and couples. Kid friendly. Not hibachi but still very good. Everyone made us feel welcomed once we entered and Jinny is an amazing server. Witness her manage 6 tables and we never went without anything. Thank you and we will be back.

Literally the best sushi in the Harker Heights/Killeen/Nolanville/Belton area!! So many different choices, and decent price for a good meal!

We love Shogun. Our favorite is the sushi roll selection you can get deep fried. It is beyond delicious. They have a pearl roll. It is deep fried with the cream cheese in it. Highly recommended

Excellent good here. I had a dragon rolls, pot stickers, green tea, and miso soup. It's was all very yummy. The decor is very nice there. This would be a great date night location. The staff were very friendly. The time I came there were not a alot of people eating inside if you are making covid conscience choices. I think I just found my favorite Japanese restaurant! Highly recommend.

My friend introduced me to this place. We chose one of the hightops against the wall in the second dining room, the decor is simple and peaceful. I ordered the Yaki Udon (pictured), a savory dish which was good, I just wish it were spicy! Also ordered shrimp tempura and soft shell crab pieces, both were tasty!! Ordered sushi to take home for my son and he ate it up but that's not saying much because he'll eat sushi from anywhere lol. Food was fresh and tasted home made and the server was polite and attendant. I would return.

2 times in two weeks. And both times they were amazing.

They have changed ownership as of the first of the month so come in and try some food!

This little gem is great! Sushi and entree' were delicious, service was outstanding. I made reservations for our anniversary and without knowing the reason for the reservation, the waitress set up a nice little flower on the table for the wife and I and even handed us some complimentary cheese cake at the end of our meal! The atmosphere is very calming with some nice low volume music in the background. We will definitely be heading back many more times. This is our new sushi place.

I have been in this area for more than a decade. I wish I had found this place sooner. This was by far one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. I will be going back. If you try this place you will not be disappointed. The waitress was fantastic. She was so helpful. The food was by far some of the best I have had. If you like Japanese food and Sushi don't waste time anywhere else. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

Traveling to kileen from houston. Saw this restaurant recommended online. Outside didnt seem like much however the sushi was pretty good! We got the burrito roll, edamame, crunch roll and gyoza. Only thing to say needs change was the burrito roll was little difficult to eat due to sizes of pieces but not that big of a deal. Owner came and introduced himself and gave us a brief intro into all the places he has lived and worked in the sushi trade! Good place and would recommend!

A few weeks ago I decided to try this place since I saw it two times before while I was on that shopping center. All I can say is that it was a great decision. The food was delicious and to my surprise they can make your sushi rolls with soy paper if you request it. This was awesome since I'm not a big fan of seaweed. And because of that now I'm able to explore the different types of sushi rolls. My family and I also like the environment which is calm and really allows you to have a great time.

Edit Aug 2020: New owners, so expect menu changes and price changes. Hopefully the new owners can keep this lovely little location going and find success. Have not been back due to Rona but will update as soon as possible. Sad to see the original owners gone but excited to see what new things may be offered.

Delicious food and warm homely atmosphere. Locally/family owned and food is made with passion and care. Service can be slow at times when busy but well worth the wait, trust me. Sushi is fresh and delicious with generous portions and I highly recommend the Tempura Udon on a cold day. Food is generally on the sweeter side which translates well to the American pallet. I also highly recommend the Gyoza appetizer. If you are in a hurry call ahead and order to go. Hours of operation can be spotty at times. This place is not to be confused with the large chain of the same name as this is a small, family owned, establishment that does not feature Hibachi. Kitchen is small and you will/may wait for food, be patient good food takes time to prepare.

Absolutely delicious! The sushi chef/owner is an iron Chef and makes superb sushi with extremely fresh ingredients. It was remodeled in the las couple months and it’s really cozy!
so glad to discover we don’t have to drive to Georgetown for good Sushi!!

We were greeted very warmly and the atmosphere was almost intoxicating as soon as we walked in. My wife and I were more than enamoured with our dishes of choice, (shrimp tempura udon for me, pork katsu for her, a yum yum sushi roll to share) and we will most definitely be returning very soon for another lovely meal!

Atmosphere is wonderful! Quiet and lovely! Food was delicious! The best Miso soup! Sushi was great too!! We needed some alone time and this was the perfect place and totally fresh everything!

This place was really really good!!! The waitress was super friendly amd went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The sushi was amazing this is definitely our new sushi spot for sure!! It was a clean and well maintained establishment

So my wife and I stumbled across this place when their was a long wait time for Cajun boiling crab (same plaza). We were welcomed right away once we entered with smiles, instead of your normality of being sat in a certain zone, we were able to choose to sit any where we liked. Now on to the food. The menu was very nice sized with lots to choose from, from sushi to ramen to nigiri and more. We started with an appetizer of tempura shrimp. The crunch was light and delightful along with a what seemed to be a thickened slightly sweet soy sauce. ABSOLUTELY delicious. On to our main entrees, my wife got the beef miso ramyun and I decided to go with a sushi roll called the big mama. The miso ramyun came out in a beautiful cast iron bowl with an authentic Japanese soup spoon. The sushi roll was bigger than I have ever seen before, it was at least 12 inches and nice thick pieces. We also ordered 8oz of saki, which came in a very nice bottle to pour out of with two shot glasses. All and all I’m glad there was a long wait at our original choice because this will be a normal family dinner spot from now on.

The best sushi place you will find, i have not found any where i live now that can compare to how they make sushi here! Its worth the drive and the money for all of it! Staff is very friendly and quick with orders and refill on drinks! Very kid friendly and always a pleasure to walk in and be welcomed by the staff 💜

This place is a big hole in the wall. Dont let the exterior location or appearance fool you. Its clean, reasonably priced, and the food is DELICIOUS. The sushi was fresh and obviously prepared by a master sushi chef. I have found my new favorite sushi place, and lunch spot!! Also, if you like sweet alcohol, try the plum wine. Holy balls.
