Cages Bend Recreation Area

We had an outstanding time here at Cages Bend Campground! The sites were clean as were the bathrooms and dumping stations. Very friendly staff! We will be back! There are many spots right on the lake but we needed a bit more time and were a little late to book to stay for a few days lakeside...next time!

Can't say enough about this campground, it's our favorite so far in our travels. Each site is huge, very scenic and overlooks the lake from most sites, has cheap laundry which was great but only one of each machine, the staff guy in the Welcome Center Hut was so nice and helpful at all times, one thing to take note on is...they DON'T let you "check in" EARLY at all but town is close by to waste time so that was good, bathrooms are clean and exceptable but do need some updating but the handicap bathroom on side of the building is brand new. All in all we can't wait to come back here again in the near future!!
Helpful hint though....this campground is ALWAYS FULL, so book your sites in plenty of advance to get a spot. You won't be disappointed, its worth checking it out for yourselves! 🤗😀🌞

Pretty park in a rural setting. Waterside sites are amazing. Definitely tight roads to get there and enter.

Very peaceful. Family friends. Right next to hickory lake. And plenty to do. And not far from a Kroger. The stop light at the turn off is a photo stop light so be careful

We so love this campground peaceful beautiful clean, we always meet awesome people here. Only formal we were here last month and this month and the grass is getting really high again, still at 5 star

It was a quiet place. I will say they did not have showers but I didn't expect him to because it says on the website that they don't have showers. I also like this place because it is close to Gallatin Tennessee and near Dolly Wood Tennessee.

Clean, beautiful lot on the lake, plenty of shade! I would not recommend lot 31 for a tent though...I used my smaller tent becaise there really wasnt anywhere for my large tent.

Small campground, but very popular. Well kept campsites good for RV or tent camping. Can fish from the banks or fishing dock. No swim beach but can still access water.

My wife and I stay here pretty often with our kiddos and kitties. Always nice people parked here. Good prices and good area.

Nice spacious spaces. Campground well groomed and roads are wide.

Cages Bend Recreation Area is a very nice area. If you like the lake and being outdoors then this a great place to visit.

Great campground, waterfront sites have some great views!

4th year here. Always stop on way back to wind blown Florida. Great host Kevin very nice.

Great COE park. Restrooms/showers a bit outdated. Most sites are pretty level. Would stay again.
