Old Hickory Beach

Good spot 4 some night fishing! We using some nice size shad we caught by dam side ! Seen some sketchy young people near dam and homeless people camping in the parking lot by boat ramp and I wish people would pick up garbage when your done using the area! I still like the area cause of fishing possibilities.

Beautiful and relaxing but can't get to the walking trail right now with all the trees down

We love this place and the people!! I've been bringing my kids since they could walk and we come every year. It's a laid back environment with grills and people usually playing music. Good place to relax and unwind, plenty of shade trees and its only 5 bucks to park!

Labor Day at the lake! We snacked, the kids swam, and we enjoyed the beautiful park all afternoon.
There was a large mens and womens bathroom, 2 pavilions, picnic tables under the trees and multiple charcoal grills. At the far end of the park there was a convenience handicap Port O Let.
The swimming area had an orange bumper around the shallows, close to the beach for safety.
It was a great day and I'd love to spend an afternoon there again.

Had a military beach bootcamp for my youth organization. It was another successful event. Thanks to the corps of engineers

Got the kiddos out the house we enjoyed our family trip to the lake today..

Great place for a calm fun filled day... Not to busy and its pet friendly.

It had a lot of beautiful birds it was peaceful and I viewed a wonderful sunset on Thanksgiving evening with an old friend and his sister.

Great place for a family gathering or place to relax. Plenty of picnic tables and grills. There's is also a beach to swim at.

Great memories here. Spent the fourth of July here with family.

Went fishing with an old friend and saw my friend in a mire serene environment vs his past He had to pay his dues to society and take a 6 yr vaca to the penetentary . Thank you guys for giving people a place to go to enjoy themselves no matter what their background is bc he looks forward to this everyday and it helps keeps him straight

Very nice park. Hate that I had to pay to visit and not go on the beach, but the attendant was really helpful and gave a great map of all of the local parks.

Love this place. Perfect for kids. Has a Sandy beach, CLEAN , sandy beach. Eater is sectioned off. Plenty of grass space, with/without shade.....grills, picnic tables. It's great. Oh n did I mention CLEAN. It has a small playland, people who work there keep it family except able at all times. 5$a parking space n your whole brewed is in. Great place for taking the kiddies.

Great place to take a 4 year old for her first time fishing. Not too many people out for a Saturday. Stayed there for about an hour and a half (until she got hungry) and she caught two tiny fish...just the right size for her tho. She even reeled them in by herself! We are so proud!

Nice and quiet but no luck on fish. Bummer.

I love this lake! Two different parking areas with total different scenery at each one. Amazing birds and the most incredible view of the lake. You can fish, relax, and feed the birds and spend quality time with the family.
