Crooked Branch Park

I absolutely loved this trail. It's tucked in a neighborhood in Old Hickory and it's so peaceful. Not a ton of walkers which is nice for your dogs who aren't great with other dogs. It's a relaxing stroll with plenty of beautiful green trees everywhere. Really nice weekend morning or afternoon run, dog walk, or stroll.

Concrete pathway that loops by the river. The last dirt path on the farthest loop goes to the actual river. Watch for ticks!! We had alot on the concrete path.
Alot wildlife , this park is remote and creepy as well.
People should think of not walking alone so much here LADIES!!! and I seen a few...

I absolutely love the entrance to this place with the bamboo and then once you get started on this Trail it was a nice serene trail covered in trees and very secluded. Also the length of the loop makes you travel farther because you can't just skip many sections to it.

I love this trail. It’s close to home and has some great scenery. I bring my dog here and he loves it. It’s about a mile and half walking the whole thing. I love taking the nature trails and going down to the water. It’s also a great place to jog.

Beautiful park, hasn't been ruined yet by trashy people. Natural beaver pond and dams,the way the Lord intended it to be. Lots of birds and other wildlife.

Very green small and cozy. Great for run, bike ride, dog walk. There a small parking lot (about6-8 cars, don’t remember exactly) and few benches on the front open area. No picnic tables (except the one on the picture). Very well maintained.

Great park for a little "walk in the woods." There are a few paths into the woods but the main path is nice and paved. It loops around, so when you come to the fork in the road go either way! It's a little less than 1.5 miles.
Nice place to walk the dog, run, herd the kids, scooter, rollerskate/blade, or leisurely ride a bike.
1st timers- there are two drives take the first on on the right. One way in, one way out.

Great little jaunt about 1.25 miles. Good for just a quick "get out and make a loop or two". Flat and easy trail.
