Everyone at this office treated me with the kindness, care and were extremely professional! Beth, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure I had every insurance option available to me. She also made me feel like family during the whole process. I'm grateful and feeling much better now that I can eat solid food again. Thanks!

I’ve had a few fillings in my life, and I always have to go back for a bite adjustment, continuous pain with chewing etc. I just had my second filling this year with Dr. Kang and I have had zero problems with them. Super impressed with how quickly he works as well. Highly recommend, and I will continue my dental care here!!!

Dr. Kang and all the staff at Goodlettsville Family Dental are incredible. They are kind and aware of their patients unique financial positions- willing to help make it work so I could get fixed up. I was nervous and unsure of what to expect, but Dr. Kang explained everything clearly, was super down to earth and cool to talk to. They are clearly in the business of caring for and helping people, and it’s refreshing to find that when dental issues can cause a lot of anxiety and frustration. I highly recommend you talk to them wherever you are in your dental journey. Also you can mail your packages at the UPS next door which is highly convenient, lol. Yay efficiency!

From the phone to the office, the staff at Goodlettsville Family Dental are warm and friendly. I went in for a check up with xrays and needed a tiny filing. Excellent care from both doctors and nurses, I feel very comfortable making them my primary dental office.

I was in a bind with a wisdom tooth coming through unexpectedly two days after Christmas. Melissa got me in same day to see Dr. Matthews. The whole team was welcoming and helpful. Recommend GFD highly.

I first went to Dr Kang 2 years ago after bad experiences losing my teeth & getting first set of dentures. Dr Kang is THE Best Dentist I have EVER seen, bar none. I am so satisfied with my dentures & this staff is amazing!!! I highly recommend G'ville Family Dental.

Where do I start? This is not just a dentist, this is like a 2nd family. Everyone here is so kind and really go the extra mile to make sure you get exactly what you want. I had a missing tooth and today I got the final bridge put on. When I say if u was to guess where it was u wouldn't be able to. It blends right in with my other teeth. I can't believe this. All I could do is cry tears of joy. I will never go anywhere else. If your looking for the perfect dentist this is your place. Thanks to all of you who were apart of my journey..❤

I would recommend Dr. Kang to everyone. I was not happy with my crooked smile, but he was able to restore my smile, and now I have so much more confidence and I am going to smile everyday, all day long. Dr. Kang is the best dentist in Nashville, by far.

By far the best dental office I've been to. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a small gap in my teeth as well as a chip that I was very insecure about. Dr. Kang fixed it with ease. His work is incredible, my smile looks so perfect but still so natural.

Dr Kang was absolutely FANTASTIC! also the assistants Victoria, Megan and Amanda were very sweet as well. Dr Kang was able to carve in extra time for a last minute emergency. My crown came off and he was able to get in a temporary right away. Also, even though I have insurance, the out of pocket payment for general cleaning are very reasonable. Propably the best one around town. Highly recommend!

Update: got my permanent crown in by Dr Kang and it was a perfect fit, WAY better than my previous crown; and for my cleaning, Had Michelle as my hygienist and she was absolutely delightful.

I have always been terrified of the dentist even at a young age. So when finding a new dentist around my area that I would be able to trust and someone who had great credibility was very important to me . Family members who had recently came to Goodlettsville Family Dental they raved about how amazing and kind everyone was there I decided to try them out. It was the best decision ever. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by an amazing front desk. When we went back I made sure to say I have bad dental anxiety they were completely understanding and made my whole experience comfortable and amazing. Went back for filling today and Dr Kang could have not been more amazing with the whole process as I’m terrified of shot and he walked me through during the shots and I couldn’t have asked for a better dentist . The one thing I absolutely love about this practice is that when you are back in the chair they tell you everything that they are doing or fixing to do which definitely calms my nerves. I love this dentist practice and they definitely have lifetime patient.

I have been coming here for about 4 years now! They always take care of me. I had a crown replacement that needed to be done asap even though I came in for cleaning they took care of me anyway! Thanks to Dr. Kang, Amanda & Megan!

This week I visited Goodlettsville Family Dental for the first time, and I had an excellent experience from start to finish. All of the staff were extremely friendly and made the process as easy as possible. Morgan was who cleaned my teeth, and she was so attentive to my personal needs and made sure I felt comfortable and informed the entire time. I will definitely be coming back, and this is the best customer service I have received at the dentist before!

Honestly Goodlettsville Family Dental is amazing! I've never liked going to the Dentist from bad experiences in my past. Dr Mathews is so sincere and caring about his patients. He makes you comfortable and he is always looking out for the patient and wants to provide top notch care. His smile designs are wonderful and life changing. He is a true artist with creating new smiles for his patients. The staff is friendly, heart felt, professional and they really know their stuff! Dr Kang is a new addition and he is wonderful too. He is so dedicated to complete oral health for his patients and sincerely cares about giving them the best care and is amazing at making them comfortable while in the office. The staff goes above and beyond to help patients better understand their insurance policies, to work with their budgets, they have helped so many patients from out of town/vacationers that had emergency related problems and they communicate immediately when an issue arises due to lab delays etc. You couldn't find a better office to come to than Goodlettsville Family Dental, they are the total package!!

Dr.Jeff Mathews is very professional and talented dentist. He has been treating me for past four years . I moved to Nashville and didn’t know any good dentists in the area and had major dental problems .
He found the best treatment plan and had implants put in . I was so impressed by the implants placement , frequent checks and fittings . I don’t have any discomfort or tenderness at all, they feel just like my natural teeth .He was compassionate and caring , the staff was very friendly and they make you feel like you are a family member . I recommend Dr. Jeff Mathews to everybody and most of my family see him on the regular basis .

Definitely hands down the best dentist I have ever had! Dr. Mathews has been taking care of my smile for four years now and, let me say it has always been a great experience! He is very thorough and explains everything he does and why. He corrected my bite with clear braces and then once that was done did six gorgeous veneers!!! My self-esteem has never been better then after having him complete my veneers. My hygienist is always so nice and thorough as well. I love how he always makes time to check me and my daughter at every cleaning! Also he does Botox and Filler and I love how I never look over done but still enough to make me look and feel youthful! Basically he will always be my forever dentist and I would 100% recommend him to anybody five-star treatment every visit!! Thank you Dr. Mathews for giving me my smile back!!

I Just got my front top teeth done and my smile hasn’t looked this great in years. The whole staff was very nice and professional and the work is affordable. Dr.Kang is a great dentist and I would highly recommend!

I love everyone at GFD!!!! Dr Mathews has done all my dental work, botox, and filler for at least the last few years and they are the best they have ever been. Lish and Jason are always spot on with my treatment plan and breaking down my insurance for me, and making sure I know what and why I owe what I do. I can’t say enough good things about everyone that works here!!! Angel, Victoria, Ericka, and Morgan have always just been so Amazing to me and my family. This truly is a family practice. They genuinely care about everyone. We need more people like them in the healthcare profession.
