Nick, who was mowing the grass at Benton dog park was very and helpful with kind when I asked him questions about the mowing of the grass.
It was nice to have a smiling face to answer my questions and request for more dirt to fill holes dug by the dogs.

Volunteering for the Jr Giamts is a great way for my son and I to keep up on our skills while also teaching some the game for their first time. I was also able to find a few camps my son and daughter both enjoyed. The skateboard camp was perfect for my son to finally break through the I can't mindset he was in. Camp Eureka taught my daughter a lot about nature and taking responsibility for ourselves and to do our part to protect the environment. Fierce Tigers Martial Arts teaches your child to be prepared if they ever need to defend themselves. Plus it was a great way for my kids to put down their phones and get some exercise. Redding Rexreation goes beyond what I would expect from our little town.

During the summer there is a pretty good-sized Farmer's Market right behind City Hall, 777 Cypress. There are people selling fresh veggies, chicken and duck eggs, as well as hand raised, artisan meats. It's a good place to meet people and have a cup of coffee and a tamale. They open at 7:30am every Sat. morning until about noon.

There is a sculpure park at this address that surrounds local government buildings such as the City Hall and the Police department. The entire area has many handicap parking spots with most of the wheel chair ramps located close to the posted parking areas.

Always enjoyable and the people are so welcoming and helpful.
